The Tomah Area School District Board of Education meets Monday, September 19th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Robert Kupper Learning Center for their regular meeting. Presentations are scheduled Monday night reflecting leadership journeys associated with our district strategic plan that include: Professional Learning Community process, potential operational referendum, and school district employee engagement survey. Enjoy this week’s issue of the PAWS! We’ve had a great week of school here in Tomah Area School District! Students are getting back into the swing of their daily classroom activities. Co-curricular and athletic events move deeper into their seasons. We’re very grateful to our student participants, coaches, and advisors for all their hard work and dedication! Tomah Area Montessori School (TAMS) is newly offering 6th grade to their students to finish the 6-year Montessori cycle. Chloe and Olivia are two of the school house’s pioneer students, original to the school’s opening. These two ‘trailblazers’ have pioneered something else: representing TAMS at it’s first ever athletics meet! The two raced alongside TMS students, all representing TASD together at their first Cross Country meet of the season.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of School Safety (OSS) is thrilled to announce the launch of the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT Resource Center (SUSO). SUSO is a comprehensive, one-stop place to turn to with your concerns regarding school safety. A facet of the Resource Center that we are particularly pleased to share with Wisconsin students and parents is the threat reporting system. The SUSO threat reporting system is available 24/7 and is free to all.
