This week’s issue of the PAWS highlights many wonderful activities happening around the district. The 2021-2022 school year closes on June 2nd with our last day of school for students! We’re so proud of our students, faculty, and community partners. Our district enjoyed a very successful 2021-2022 academic year through your support, gifts, and talents! We look forward to 2022-2023! This Saturday we celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the Tomah High School graduating Class of 2022. Commencement represents new beginnings. Although we will miss our graduates very much, I am eager to see the great things they will accomplish as they begin a new chapter in their lives. Tomah High School graduates will be serving our nation in the military, entering the workforce, and attending colleges and universities throughout our nation. Our community is so proud of you all! My sincere thanks to Tomah Area School District faculty, our families, and community for the powerful support, guidance, and impact you have had on our children along their path to this special day!

Our graduates have boundless opportunities and freedom to pursue their interests due to the sacrifices made by so many throughout the course of our nation’s history. This weekend we honor and pay solemn tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country during wars and conflicts spanning our nation and the globe ensuring those freedoms. My deepest respect to all Tomah Area families and community members gathering together this Memorial Day weekend to honor fallen loved ones. Have a safe and enjoyable weekend here in Tomah or as you travel to visit friends and family. Thank you for making our school district a great place to learn and grow along every step of our children’s educational journey!
