The board of education will hold their regular board meeting on Monday, May 15th, at Robert Kupper Learning Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. You can find the board agenda on our district website. Tomah Area School District board members and guests in attendance will celebrate and honor employees retiring this year. Employee years of service will also be recognized. Many thanks and our very best to our retiring faculty and staff for their dedication to our students and community during their years of service to Tomah Area School District!

YA SIGNING DAY!

The first annual YA Signing Day was held at the High School! Tomah has grown its Youth Apprenticeship Program, under the direction of Dawn Pierce, to record numbers of participation, with 52 students and 49 employers. This year three Youth Apprenticeship students, McKinley Budde, Thomas Hesse, and Gavin Finch earned Registered Apprenticeships that they will begin after graduation; working and training to become Journeyman Plumbers. To commemorate their achievements, a Signing Day was held for family and the THS student body to witness them signing their contract commitments!

Here are some photos from Warren’s final battle from their March Madness Tournament of Books. This year, the tournament had a fairy tale theme. Students voted for their favorite story amongst the “Sweet 16” books entered into the competition and narrowed it down to two that would battle “tale to tale.” Substitute Mrs. Reimann and her book choice, The Three Ninja Pigs, went up against Mrs. Lord’s book selection, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. After a close vote, the Three Ninja Pigs came out on top. Congratulations to Mrs. Reimann and The Three Ninja Pigs for being named the 2023 Tournament of Books Champion!
