nupama Parameswaran has been roped in as the leading lady in upcoming Telugu movie, the remake of Tamil movie Ratsasan in which Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is playing the lead role. The movie has been launched few days ago and the regular shoot has also been started.

Ratsasan remake is being directed by Ramesh Varma.

And actor turned producer Havish and his father Koneru Satyanarayana are producing it. it’s original Tamil version, Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul played the lead role.

The sources say that Ramesh Varma felt that Anupama Parameswaran would perfectly fit the role of a young teacher, with her body language, expressions and performance skills making her the ideal choice for female lead. ow once again Mahesh Babu received GST shock. A couple of months ago, the GST Commissionerate had blocked Mahesh Babu’s bank accounts over an alleged non-payment of service tax of Rs 18.5 lakhs. Later Mahesh has sent a legal notice to the GST Commissioner through his legal team.

In this notice, Mahesh Bbau questioned GST Commissioner’s decision to seize his two bank accounts without any prior notice. It is known news that recently Mahesh Babu launched world-class superplex AMB Cinemas. Now it has come under the GST department's

scanner. The GST anti-profiteering wing, Ranga Reddy district served a showcause notice on AMB Cinemas for violating GST norms, by not reducing the price of tickets despite revised tax rates.Starting 1st January, the GST Council had said that tickets worth Rs 100 and above would fall in the 18% tax bracket instead of earlier 28% whereas for tickets less than Rs 100, it would fall in 12% tax bracket instead of earlier 18%.In a raid conducted on the multiplex, the GST anti-evasion team found out that Mahesh Babu’s AMB Cinemas had not reduced the ticket prices even after the central government's notification.

Noted producer and distributor Dil Raju has brought the remake rights of 96 and C. Prem Kumar, who directed the original Tamil film of 96, will direct the Telugu remake too. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, all is not well between the director and producer.

Differences have cropped up between C Prem Kumar and Dil Raju. The sources

say that the director C Prem Kumar wants to rope in music director Govind Vasantha who scored the music for the Tamil version of 96 whereas Dil Raju does not want the same music composer for remake. Not only this, Dil Raju is also suggesting a few changes to suit the Telugu audience which the director C Prem Kumar is against. It is heard that the producer wants to make few changes in the character of Samantha, but the director is not ready for this.The sources added, “Prem Kumar wants the remake to be exactly like the original version of 96 and doesn’t want to make any changes.”
