Story:

Venkata Lakshmi (Nithya Shetty), who is a devotee of Sai Baba, lives with her father in a small town. Prabhu(Sanjay Rao), who works with Venkata Lakshmi’ father falls in love with her. The twist arises in the story after the entry of Krish(Viswanth), who too falls for Venkata Lakshmi. After this, Venkata Lakshmi gets kidnapped by someone. Who kidnapped Venkata Lakshmi and why? Is Krish involved in this setup? to get these answers, one should watch the movie O Pitta Katha on the silver screen.

Performance:

Nithya Shetty steals the show with her performance. Her acting is a major plus for the movie O Pitta Katha.

Nithya has a lot of potential .The guy who essayed the role of Sanjay’ friend evokes a few good laughs. Vishwanth has done a good job with the character which has different shades. Sanjay Rao too did a good job. Brahmaji is fine. Rest of the cast of O Pitta Katha perform accordingly.

Technical: Coming on the work of director Chendu Muddhu, he does a good job as he tries to narrate this love story more visually and executed the thrill and twists very well.

Chandu Muddu had earlier helmed Aa Oorlo O Sari Yemjarigindhante, but it didn’t get a proper release. The film O Pitta Katha has simple and routine storyline. The Songs are pleasing but the cinematography highlights the limitations of the artistes. The romantic track between the lea pair is not elevated much. The production values of this film are top notch.

Overall O Pitta Katha is a suspense thriller drama.

Raghu Kunche did a good job. Lakshman as a side kick to hero is fine. Person who played Police Officer character Sebastian is ok. The rest of the actors are all fine performance wise.

Technical:

Palasa 1978 has routine story. Dialogues are superb. There are few cuss words which are used in the film.

The cinematography work is superb and showcases the rustic locations superbly.

Screenplay is just ok. Kirana Kumar has done a good job who came up such type of story and became successful to impress the movie lovers. The editing could have been better. The BGM by Raghu Kunche is alright and the folk songs are placed neatly.

Analysis: The main plus points of Palasa

1978 are performances, dialogues and the music. The movie’s pace is slow. If you ignore the routine story, the film Palasa 1978 will entertain everyone.

ecently Chennai Corporation had stated that their staff had passed the sticker as versatile actor Kamal Haasan former partner Gautami had returned from Dubai recently and her passport had Kamal’ residence address. A quarantine sticker was pasted at Vishwaroopam actor’ Eldams Road residence in Chennai. The quarantine sticker states that the people, who are residing in Eldams Road property need to be quarantined from 10th March until 2nd April. Recently, Kamal Haasan released a statement that he has not been quarantined. Indian actor also stated that he is maintaining social distancing.

Indian 2 star Kamal Haasan said, “As a precautionary measure, I have undertaken social distancing.
