A Matter of Balance, an award winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity, November 2, 10:3012:30pm. This Program emphasizes

practical strategies to manage falls.

Learn to: View falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, exercise to increase strength and balance. The Pinehills 12th Annual Holidays on the Green! Saturday, December 3rd, 11am to 5pm. We know you’ll love this day devoted to fun, music, and holiday activities for the whole family whether you share your wish-list with Santa, channel your inner pastry chef at the cookie decorating station or parade your pooch around in his holiday finery. This year, hop on the shuttle and tour the already-gorgeous model homes

decked for the holidays. The Artisan Tent and Village Green shops will be decked out for your holiday shopping and festivities culminate with the magical lighting of our village Christmas tree. More details to come!

The Glee Club at The Pinehills Holiday Concert, Friday, December 9th, 7:30pm. This annual favorite fills up fast. Come enjoy the songs of the season. Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is a volunteer organization that helps residents of The Pinehills transition to and live well in the community. N2N provides informational resources, programs and activities related to Health & Wellness, Residence Maintenance & Technology, and Money Matters, three aspects of daily life that touch everyone within The Pinehills.

The program will include a Vietnam War video, brief talk by Lt. Col. (Ret.) Brian Sullivan a Vietnam Veteran from Plymouth and service pins to all who served during the Vietnam era. Buffet will be catered by The Market. Spike LeFebvre will provide entertainment with a piano sing–along.

Womanade, presents an Afternoon of Art and Anecdotes with Andrew Kusmin on Monday, November 14th, 3-5pm.

Andrew, a Plymouth native, is an award winning watercolorist and author. View some of his art work, follow his career and learn about his interests, mentors and teachers. Andrew will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of his b ook and art work t o Womanade. Womanade provides shortterm emergency financial help to families in need in the Plymouth School District.

Writer’s Circle meets on the first and third Tuesdays, and is fully subscribed.

Writing Group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 1-3pm. All skill levels are welcome and members encouraged to

FITNESS CLASSES Payment deadline is Nov 25th for Dec. Fees collected pay instructors. Payments received after deadline, have an additional $10 fee. Drop in rate is $10.

Group Resistance Training, Monday, Wednesday & Fridays, 7:30-8:30am (no class 11/25). A challenging workout using a sequence of integrated exercises to build stronger muscles, core and bone strength, and balance. Bring a fitness ball, yoga mat (waffled on both sides) and water. $45/month if paid by 11/25.

Low Impact Cardio & Toning, Wednesdays, 10-11am (no class Nov 23). Each routine combines cardio vascular and toning exercises to pre choreographed music that will target specific muscle groups. Lightweight toning sticks will be provided along with modifications. $20pp.

PiYo Workshop (Pilates & Yoga) Fridays, 8:45-9:45am, through Dec 16th (No class 11/25) PiYo is a hybrid, athletic workout, which combines the mind/body practices of yoga and the core conditioning principles of Pilates.

Instructor. Please bring a mat. $35pp for the workshop series. (9 Sessions) Tai Chi & Qigong, Tuesdays, 9-10am.

Improve health and prevent illness w/ this self-paced system of exercises. $30/month if paid by if paid by 11/25.

Total Body Fitness Workshop, Mondays & W e d n e s d a ys , 8 : 4 5 - 9 :4 5 am , beginning November 14th– December 12th. This class combines low impact aerobic moves with the latest toning exercises then finishes with a full body stretch.
