FALL IN LOVE WITH REGENCY Fall in Reno is one of the best seasons of the year for a variety of reasons. The mild weather allows residents to participate in several annual outdoor community events as well as on-site Regency events. Popular community events include the Great Reno Balloon Race involving up to 100 hot air balloons, the National Championship Air Races showcasing vintage and modern planes, and the Best in the West Rib Cook-Off filling the streets with 23 of the best rib smokers in the world. These events draw large crowds of people from all over the country and make Reno a truly special place to visit in the fall. Additionally, Regency homeowners will enjoy a day trip to Apple Hill. This popular fall attraction includes visiting over a dozen apple orchards, local wineries and breweries, and craft fairs. The fall colors make the drive to Apple Hill a spectacular sight and well worth the visit. Apple donuts, caramel apples, apple pie, and hot apple cider are just a few of the delectable treats available to visitors. Whether indulging in a tasty treat or finding a handmade gift, nobody leaves empty handed! This season we have a variety of events and activities scheduled. Regency homeowners will enjoy outdoor live music concerts, a trip to Genoa for the annual Candy Dance Festival, a ride on the Lake Tahoe M.S. Dixie, the annual Halloween Party, a Virginia City Ghost Tour, a holiday live cooking demonstrations, and much more. I hope to see you here this fall and look forward to showing you why Regency was recently voted one of the Top Fifty Places to Retire by Where to Retire magazine! By Mike Aguilar, Lifestyle Director
