Heaters can burn things
Place heaters on a solid, flat surface. Keep them at least three feet away from items in your home that can burn.
Never use a space heater with a damaged cord or plug
Damaged cords can cause sparks, which can cause a fire.
Always plug a space heater into a wall outlet
Space heaters use a lot of energy, which may cause extension cords and power bars to overheat, leading to a fire.
Make sure the heater is of when you’re not home
Leaving a space heater unattended is a fire hazard.
Keep the heater out of busy areas in your home This will prevent it from becoming a tripping hazard.
Don’t run the cord under furniture or rugs
This will prevent overheating.
Buy your heater from a trustworthy source

Fire safety hazards
Lithium-ion battery explosions are unpredictable and volatile. Overcharging batteries and using extension cords produces heat that can lead to a fre. Only use the manufacturer’s charging cables, plug directly into an outlet, and monitor until charging is complete.
