Slavik was a first year student when he found a great way to put his studies into practice - AIESEC. Slavik joined AIESEC in 2006 being a student of mechanics and mathematics faculty because he wanted to gain professional knowledge and develop himself. In 2008 he became the head of information management of AIESEC in Lviv. Now Slavik works as a national head of informational management department of AIESEC in Ukraine. AIESEC gave Slavik unique opportunity to implement knowledge and skills gained in the university on practice, to network with other IT specialists, to get to know new tendencies in IT sphere. He is constantly improving his functional skills by creating web pages, designing and programming. “My life changed totally after joining AIESEC. During three years in this organization I was practicing in IT sphere and implementing my ideas. I realized several projects in IT and developed also leadership and management skills. Now I not only know my goals but also know the ways to achieve them. And one more success in AIESEC is the fact that I really believe now that impossible is nothing, and that you can get whatever you want " During his AIESEC experience Slavik got complex leadership, personal and professional development by both participating in creative projects and implementing his own ideas. He enjoyed working in teams and being a leader in IT sphere.

Inna was a fifth year student when she found a great way to put her finacial studies into practice - AIESEC. Inna joined AIESEC when she was 21 and studied on the fifth year in the university. Reason to join AIESEC was a chance to get complex leadership, personal and professional development. Inna occupied a lot of a leadership positions during her life in AIESEC. She was co-founder of a local committee, finance responsible and the head of the organizing committee of Business Club. Then Inna managed finance direction on local and national level. Work on national level gave her a chance to manage all financial direction of organization in Ukraine.After that Inna decided to develop her skills and gain new knowledge on international level by applying to AIESEC Estonia. “I was managing finance area on the national level and I'm proud that my achievements in this direction became a great contribution to the development of AIESEC in Ukraine” During those 3 years which Inna spent in the organization, she received a lot of not only theoretical, but also practical knowledge. She had working experience in projects budgeting, financial management; work in a team with finance managers. And also it was unbelievable experience of team work and team management.

Nadya Lyubyva, 25 Ukraine
Nadya was a second year student when she found a great way to put her management and economic studies into practice - AIESEC. “AIESEC gave me opportunity to work in multicultural team in Asia for a year, building on my leadership skills, as well as connecting me to an international network, increasing my selfawareness and understanding myself, my values and my ambitions.” Nadya joined AIESEC in 2001 at the age of 19. In a few years she became a manager of personnel of AIESEC in Ukraine and then of AIESEC in Hong Kong. Her main responsibilities on both positions were to improve people development processes and manage the development of 800 people in Ukraine and Hong Kong. Her experience in Ukraine was appraised in Hong Kong, where she had an opportunity to improve her skills. During these years in AIESEC Nadya was able not to visit such countries as Germany, The Netherlands, Romania, Egypt, UK, Belgium, India, China, Malaysia, Thailand. Being able to live and work on another side of the globe while being fresh graduate, inspiring people to discover their potential and being brave to develop it further helped Nadya to discover her passion in people development and of course it was a great opportunity to implement her theoretic knowledge practically in 2 different countries.

Oksana was a second year student when she found a great way to put her management and economic studies into practice - AIESEC. Oksana joined AIESEC in 2001. She occupied different positions in AIESEC in Lviv. Then she became head of the marketing department of AIESEC in Ukraine One of her main responsibilities was to create a national strategic marketing and communications plan for AIESEC in Ukraine. Oksana got a practical experience of AIESEC global brand implementation in Ukraine, usage different marketing and PR instruments, crisis management. Thanks to Oksana's work and persistence it was the first time when marketing sphere was developed in AIESEC in Ukraine. And this direction successfully works until now. AIESEC experience influenced on Oksana's habits and style of behavior in all possible business situations. "In AIESEC I understood the importance of proactivity. Thanks to this proactivity I always try to choose the best opportunities in my life. In AIESEC I understood also one important principle that you have to believe in people, develop them, see their potential and make something not because of something, but for something.�

Olya Dehtyarova, 23, Ukraine Internship in Czech Republic Olya’s story is just one of the 4400 stories lived each year with AIESEC’s Global Internship Program. Internships last from 2 - 18 months and are located across AIESEC’s 100-country network. Olya first visited Czech Republic when she was 22 years old. She came to this country as a Business English teacher due to the AIESEC internship. She was on internship in Prague teaching on English and Business Communication Courses in the Czech University of Life Sciences. Before the internship Olya was a student of Lviv National University named after I.Franko. Her major was translation studies and linguistics. This internship was an opportunity for her to learn and implement various training development techniques on the participants of the language courses and practice communication skills on people of completely different backgrounds and age groups. "I have taught over 160 classes, every one of which was unique and adjusted specifically for each group and student. I managed to boost the knowledge of my students and, what is most important, develop greatly their interest towards English language. " At the age of 22 Olya got a life-changing experience. Internships last from 2 - 18 months and are located across AIESEC’s 100-country network. Oksana went on an internship with AIESEC in Finland (Helsinki) as a teacher on international educational project. The reason for this was her wish to make positive impact on society. This kind of opportunity is something that many people in Ukraine would never even dream of experiencing. Oksana has never worked as a teacher before. Moreover she was working in an international team. Her colleagues were interns from Poland, Brazil, Philippines, Turkey, China, Belgium, Malta, Romania, and Nigeria. That was the thing that made this experience so precious, and project so special and unforgettable. According to Oksana, there's no equivalent experience to being in a foreign country and experiencing something so valuable at her age. The experience of learning to integrate into a new culture, trying new things teaches you so much about who you are and how you adapt to new things and new environments. “Thanks to my internship I'm not afraid to try new things even though I know that nobody has ever done it before. Anya decided to go on internship after graduating from her university at the age of 23. For 6 months she was analyzing different information, making marketing researches and dealing with various brands and companies. Internships last from 2 - 18 months and are located across AIESEC’s 100-country network. In 2007 Katya went on internship to Germany, Cologne (Koln). She was working in THERON Management Advisors AG Company. Her internship was in the field of business consulting. Katya gained experience in managing projects, leading a team, effective communication and working in changing environment. The opportunity to work in Germany allowed Katya understand how business processes should be run in the real company, form European approach to work and gain professional skills which will help her in her future. "This internship gave me the opportunity to get management skills by leading the team of professionals in the international surrounding. It also made me believe in myself because of high contribution to people development area of the company I was working in." Volodymyr Pryvizentsev, 21, Ukraine Internship in Iceland Volodymyr’s story is just one of the 4400 stories lived each year with AIESEC’s Global Internship Program. Internships last from 2 - 18 months and are located across AIESEC’s 100-country network. Volodymyr was a student of 2nd course and his major was automatic control systems in production. In 2007 Volodymyr went on AIESEC internship because he wanted to gain international professional experience and be a part of global network of young specialists. Volodymyr became an engineer in Raftekning Consulting Engineers Company in Reykjavik, Iceland. He worked in a team of professionals and learned how to design power stations, transmission lines and distribution systems. He worked both in office and geothermal power plant. Also Volodymyr made a research for company about market perspectives in Former Soviet Union Countries. "I went on internship because that was an excellent chance for me to start career as an engineer in the European electrical engineering company. Rafteikning Company was looking for students of engineering knowledge from Ukraine because they wanted to enter the market of Former Soviet Union Countries. Fortunately I referred to all their requirements".
