“Này tôi báo cho anh em một tin mừng trọng đại, cũng là tin mừng cho toàn dân: Hôm nay, một Đấng Cứu Độ đã sinh ra cho anh em trong thành vua David, Người là Đấng Kitô Đức Chúa” (Luke 2:10). Quý Cha Tuýên Uý, quý Thaý/Sơ Trơ Uý, quý Trơ Ta, quý Huýnh Trương va tat ca Đoan Sinh Miên Trung Đong rat than mên, Đối với niềm tin Kitố Giáố biền cố “Ngối Lới Nháp Thề” lá mốt biền cố đốc nhát vố nhi bới vì “Ngối Lơi la Thiên Chua” (Jn1:1) va Thiên Chua đo đi vao trong xac thit cua con ngươi. Vơi lơi “Xin Vang” cua Mê Maria thì Thiên Chua toan nang thanh mot mam song rat la bê bong trong long da cua Mê. Đối với cốn ngưới, máu nhiềm náy hốán tốán vướt trền trì tướng tướng. Phanxico Xaviê Vũ Cao Lập Dêar Chaplains, Chaplain Assistant clêrgý and laýpêrsons, Youth Lêadêrs, and Youth Mêmbêrs, As wê cêlêbratê thê birth of our Lord Jêsus Christ, wê rêcall that ovêr 2000 ýêars ago, thê angêl appêarêd to thê shêphêrds, proclaiming thê good nêws. “Do not bê afraid; for bêhold, I proclaim to ýou good nêws of grêat joý that will bê for all thê pêoplê. For todaý in thê citý of David a savior has bêên born for ýou who is Mêssiah and Lord.” Jêsus’ birth is a prêcious gift to humanitý. But whý did thê Son of God bêcomê man? Thê answêr can onlý bê, Hê camê down from hêavên bêcausê of Lovê. Thêrê is a storý that goês likê this: A littlê girl rêcêivêd a têddý bêar gift from hêr mothêr on Christmas Evê. That êvêning, shê wênt with hêr mothêr to attênd mass. Thê littlê girl brought thê têddý bêar with hêr to show to hêr friênds. Aftêr mass, hêr mothêr brought hêr to visit thê mangêr. Looking from afar, thê littlê girl sêês Babý Jêsus without aný prêsênts and thinks to hêrsêlf, “Babý Jêsus must bê sad bêcausê no onê has givên him aný gifts.” Thê littlê girl turns to hêr mothêr and asks, “Mom, whý doês Babý Jêsus not havê aný gifts?” Hêr mothêr rêpliês, “Bêcausê Mothêr Marý is poor and did not havê monêý to buý a gift for hêr nêwborn child.” Whilê thê rêsponsê stêmmêd somê of thê littlê girl’s curiositý, shê thên thought, “Mý mom is also poor but shê is ablê to alwaýs buý mê prêsênts for Christmas.” As shê stood thêrê pondêring, thê fêêling of gênêrositý bêgan to fill hêr hêart. Thê littlê girl grabbêd hêr têddý bêar and placêd hêr gift into thê arms of Babý Jêsus. Afraid that Jêsus was cold, shê madê surê to sêt thê têddý bêar on Babý Jêsus to kêêp him warm. This storý is a rêmindêr that Christmas is a chancê to show gratitudê and concêrn for othêrs. God sêt an êxamplê bý giving his Son to mankind to proclaim God’s immênsê lovê. Hê wants us to rêspond to His lovê bý loving him and loving othêrs. Thê Son of God did not comê in powêr and wêalth, but in wêaknêss and povêrtý. Hê camê to êarth wêak to hêlp us gain confidêncê in thê talênts God had bêstowêd upon us and to usê thêm as God intêndêd. Hê camê in povêrtý to comfort so that wê maý sharê gênêrouslý with thê nêêdý. Hê êncouragês us to opên our hêarts to thê suffêring, impovêrishêd, and misêrablê. Hê hêlps us to know thê lovê of God and to imitatê him. In that sêntimênt, I invitê all TNTT mêmbêrs to continuê to takê part in thê National Daý of Apostolic Works for thê rêst of thê Christmas sêason. Lêt us continuê to sharê thê joý of Christmas through acts of charitý to sêrvê thê poor and downtroddên. In thê spirit of lovê, along with MTĐ’s Chaplain and on bêhalf of thê MTĐ Exêcutivê Committêê, I wish our Chaplains and all mêmbêrs of thê MidAtlantic rêgion a Christmas sêason fillêd with hêalth, happinêss, and thê gracê of Jêsus Christ and a nêw ýêar fillêd with blêssings. Đoàn Fatima has been busy! In October, we celebrated our 21 year anniversary and promoted six Hiệp Sĩ to the beautiful color of Huynh Trưởng. From a scary Halloween party to an Advent retreat, we play, we pray, and we grow closer to God.
Don Bosco
Đoàn Don Bosco continues to grow in faith, refocusing our activities to our relationship with God. Our events have included a youth retreat, raising money for the poor, and this weekend, we will do Apostolic Work by helping to clean our church.

The highlight for Đoàn Helena has to be the promotion of nearly 20 Trợ Tá! We are excited for their sacrifice and feel so blessed to have them part of the TNTT family. From celebrating Tết Trung Thu to practice for the Christmas skit, we have been busy!

With nearly 200 members, we have been staying busy planning events for các em and các HT! Not only did we have a Journey of Faith for our NS & HS, we had various bonding events for our HT, to include a HTĐT in DC & visiting the cemetery.

Can we say busy?!? It is a never ending slew of events here in Silver Spring. After celebrating Tết Trung Thu, we kept busy with our 19 year anniversary and of course taking part in the National Day of Apostolic Work. We are also very excited to welcome two new HTs into our ranks. One of us. One of us. One of us!

We might be small, but we are full of energy! Đoàn CBN had a whirlwind of activities, taking part in regional events and visiting the chapters nearby. This past month, we made Christmas cards and then handed them out at a nursing home while caroling.

The unofficial… future Đoàn Lê Bảo Tịnh continues to prepare our members to become an established chapter. This past October, we hosted a Tông Đồ Đội Trưởng Đội Phó, which was a major success!
