Attending RLC at Augusta, Georgia was a mind opening experience for me, especially since I was initiated to the Auburn Chapter in the Fall of 2018. I did not know what to expect attending this leadership conference. I never thought of fraternities presenting an event like this because I have always just had that biased opinion of the fraternity being only a place to make fun memories with other brothers. I assumed most of anything dealing with the fraternity stopped at the chapter. I never could have imagined this massive network that has been established. I learned “Thank you to our Delta Chi Brothers from Auburn whothe Delta Chi Fraternity is bigger than just my attended the recent Regional Leadership Conference whochapter. There are lots of people wanting and are clearly on the move to building a bigger better chapterwilling to help us. I got this sense at the multiple courses I attended in the Tiger Land.” Aaron Otto “AA” like learning about the history of our founders and how to budget/prepare for the future. After meeting and talking to the presenters they were really interested in us and wanting to help us by giving any and all advise they could if we had any questions. Something I did not expect was meeting other brothers and learning how they run their chapters compared to ours and other chapters. I guess I had thought all the chapters would have been more similar than what they really were. Overall, I had an extremely enjoyable experience at RLC. I met lots of interesting people and created lots of memories. My opinion of the Delta Chi fraternity has changed for the better. I am looking forward to going to RLC next year at Fort Walton Beach.
