December 2012 News Letter

December 2012 Tioga Transmission P.O. Box 607 Owego, N.Y. 13827 Hi All; Once again I am doing an abbreviated newsletter due to time constraints. Perhaps after the Holidays I will get back into the swing.

For those of you who are interested I can report that my son Rob has had his treatment and is well on the way to health. He even went back to work this last week.

Of club interest, first I thank Joe for stepping in quite capably in my absence. He had a very interesting meeting with some trivia information that I have enjoyed since my return.

The Christmas party is Monday, December 10,2012 at Donoli’s in Apalachin. I think all of you know that Donoli’s is located on route 434 in Apalachin. The menu as chosen by your input is Roast Top Round of Beef served with Gravy and Aujus, Ham with Pineapple, Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, Scolloped Potatoes, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Mixed Veggies. There will be a fresh garden salad bar, Garlic Bread, and coffee service. Total cost for the meal is $22.00 with tax and tip included. Tioga region is paying $10.00 toward the meal so you will pay only $12.00. Don’t forget to bring non perishable food items for our donation to Tioga County Rural Ministry.

There is a parade in Owego on December 7, 2012 and we have been invited to bring our decorated modern cars to do the parade. The parade forms at the Tioga County Office Building in the parking lot. We are asked to assemble between 4:00 and 6:00 with the parade kicking off at 6:00PM. Donations of non perishable food will be collected again for the Tioga County Rural Food Ministry. More information on the parade can be had by calling Don at 607-687-2035. Santa and Fireworks will follow the parade.
