Be a Butcher For the Day
The Butchery Experience Start the day with a guided tour of the farm before learning the skills of this age-old trade. Our Master Butcher will explain the process of preparing our meat products for sale - from the field to the fork! This is a hands on experience - we will provide Butchers tools and coats for you In the afternoon, experiment with flavours and make your sausages to take home ! This is an experience for adults only. Butcher for the Day is from 10am until 4pm including a break for lunch in the Farm CafĂŠ. Lunch and sausages to take away are included . To Book Whether for yourself or a gift, on receiving your order we send you a Voucher, Itinerary and Instructions to the shipping address you provide us with. All you need to do is give it to the lucky recipient for a present and they can call us to book in any Saturday January to March 2016 . Welcome to Church Farm
A not-for-profit Community Interest Company Welcome to Church Farm, a mixed farming enterprise, and a place for wildlife, beauty, diversity, community and people. Traditional cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry are kept on pasture. Hundred’s of varieties of vegetables, fruit and herbs are grown here. We do not chemically castrate pigs, add water to your meat, pass off udders as burgers or engage in the many horrific practices prevalent in the current food system!
Food is processed on the farm. Poultry is dry-plucked and all the meat is grown and prepared here in the butchery. Our chefs produce Hams, Chutneys, Pies and a menu of ready meals.
You can come and see how your food is grown at anytime. We are open 7 days a week. Thank you for supporting this way of farming.

Church Farm Gift Vouchers £5, £10, £20 or £50. They can be ordered online for postal delivery to your address or you can collect from the Farm Store .
Vouchers can be used towards the whole range of products and services the Farm offers, from shopping in the Farm Store to booking a weekend in the cabins.
Medlar Fruit Harvesting FREE event helping harvest our 30 Olde English Medlar Trees. Pay for what you harvest. The edible fruits are an acquired taste and tart if eaten raw, but make pleasant game jellies or desserts and can be used for making wine. Fruits available to Harvest with small groups supervised by our Grower.
Available Saturday 5 and 12 December 2015 at 10am & 2pm. Meet at the Farm Store.

There is lots to do at Church Farm in November & December. Our farm trail and feeding the animals is open every day. The butchers and farm shop opens 7 days a week as does the pub and cafe.
