Oregon celebrates everything, and rightfully so! Whether the occasion is craft beer, distilled spirits, William Shakespeare, Tulips or any of the hundreds of cultural traditions in the Pacific Northwest, festivals and celebrations throughout Oregon continue to grow and thrive year after year. With a host of locations to choose from including breathtaking natural landscapes and urban communities that intertwine historic and contemporary perspectives, the opportunities to create images that not only memorialize our festivals but to showcase and share them to the greater world is a unique opportunity.

I am a commercial, event and portrait photographer based in Portland, Oregon.

For over 10 years I have had the wonderful opportunity to create images that capture the excitement, energy and history of various festivals throughout the Portland area. I continue to work with clients on festivals and celebrations of all occasions, sizes, durations and seasons. My body of work presented in this portfolio spans the longstanding and ever growing craft beer industry in Oregon.

Each year Oregon hosts festivals that draw thousands of attendees from all over the world, and in working with my clients I capture images to help further the growth of the festivals for years to come.

My festival photography has been reproduced by various print media outlets, and electronic news sites and blogs, both locally and worldwide. Publications include the Oregonian, 1859 Magazine, Sunset Magazine and Alaska Airlines Magazine. Online, my work has been featured in articles and advertisements in several outlets including CNN.com, the Seattle Times, BrewPublic and the Portland Radio Project.

As I grow my work, I continue to look for opportunities to establish new relationships with clients from all over the world, and help further celebrate them through my lens.

Oregon Brewers Festival the BIG one...

Since 1988 the Oregon Brewers Festival has grown to become, arguably, the biggest craft beer festival in North America and, possibly, the world. This festival is huge; over a 5-day period, OBF can host over 80,000 visitors who come from all over the world to enjoy a wide variety of beers from upwards of 90 different brewers.

From the opening day parade through the city streets of Portland, to the last call on Sunday evening, OBF is always a festive atmosphere that leaves people planning to return, and for good reason: unused beer tokens are always good year after year!

Oregon Garden Beer Festival the hidden GEM...

About an hour drive South of Portland, tucked quietly away in Silverton, Oregon is the home of the Oregon Garden Beer Festival. This is by far the most picturesque as it takes place inside the 80+ acres of the Oregon Botanical Garden.

For years visitors have been treated to a growing list of brews and brewers over a multi-day event that includes food and great local music. And if just one day isn’t enough to explore the garden while enjoying a wide range of craft brews, the OGBF is conveniently located adjacent to the Oregon Garden Resort. Just in case.

North American Organic Beersaving Festival the PLANET...

Consistently serving over 60 all-organic beers on tap, this extremely family-friendly event has been one of the most environmentally cooperative events in Portland.

Holiday Ale Festival 'tis the SEASON

The Pioneer Courthouse Square, affectionately known as “Portland’s Living Room,” is the annual location for the Holiday ale Festival. An entire city block is transformed into a multi-level festival featuring one-of-a-kind winter ales and beers to help take off the chill and usher in the holiday season. All of the beers are brewed just for the event, adding to a unique experience each year.

The added bonus to end the multi-day festival: a catered Sunday beer brunch complete with unique aged beers. Anyone not filled with holiday cheer after this festival should seek medical attention.
