Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga at Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa offers new twist on ancient practice

Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga is taking yoga to new heights! The Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa is hosting two classes on July 28 for all levels. Class times are 6-7 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m. All levels are welcome to experience the excitement and novelty of SUP Yoga that breaks down all barriers. Participants are in the same state of vulnerability to just be playful and accepting. It is a great lesson to learn on the mat, off the mat, and on the paddle board. Whether you have practiced yoga for years or have never stepped on the mat, SUP Yoga will open all participants to potential they did not know they had. It is also the perfect way to stay cool while being active on these warm summer evenings.

The 60-minute class on the water will be led by WPA-certified coach and yoga instructor Andie Landa. All participants should be comfortable in water and able to swim. The cost of the class is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. Class size is limited to six per session. Those interested can register at the Ocotillo Village front desk or contact Linda Bernal at lbernal@dmbclubs.com. The Ocotillo Village Health Club & Spa is located at 4200 S.
