he political firestorm around JannMichael Greenburg continued to grow last week as a result of a secret dossier with information about his opponents – mainly parents – that his father apparently compiled and that Greenburg had access to. The latest match was lit Thursday as Arizona Attorney Mark Brnovich released letters he sent to the FBI and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and another to the school district’s chief counsel. Earlier in the week, Greenburg was bounced from the presidency of the Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board in a scandal that has garnered worldwide publicity. And despite his board colleagues’ call for his resignation, Greenburg retained his seat after spurning their requests to resign – one of only two ways, along with a recall, that a board can be removed.

s the cost of turkey hit an all-time high of $1.42 per pound earlier this year, Scottsdale resorts and restaurants were thinking about Thanksgiving long before November.

And now, those restaurants are ramping up efforts to accommodate sold-out dining rooms and large to-go orders as families rejoice for in-person festivities this Thanksgiving. “We started the process early, knowing there could be some challenges,” said Russell LaCasce, executive chef at ZuZu at Hotel
