Session 1: 6.30pm Session 2: 7.15pm (repeat of Session 1) Howick College is pleased to invite parents, caregivers and students interested in enrolling for 2019 to our Open Evening to see and hear first-hand from our students and teachers about the future-focused, innovative teaching and learning happening at Howick College. We will host two sessions in the theatre followed by student led tours for prospective students and their families to move around the school, to visit our current staff and students, to ask questions, to see, and to experience a snap shot of life at the college. It will be an enjoyable and informative evening and will be the only opportunity to visit the school to see how we work. Prospectuses and enrolment packs will be distributed through our local feeder schools over the coming weeks with only a small number available at our Open Evening. We may correct or amend advertising to conform to style or for other genuine reason as long as we do so using reasonable care. 7. The guarantees contained in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are excluded where the advertiser acquires, or holds himself out as acquiring, goods or services from us for the purpose of a business. 8. The advertiser must tell us as soon as possible if there is an error or omission in any advertisement the advertiser has placed. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss from an error (which includes ommission, negligence, system or press failure, mistake, misclassification, early, late or non insertion of advertisement or loss or delay in the delivery of replies) and if we are found to have any direct liability for any circumstance that liability is limited to the cost of the space of the advertisement. 9. Parents of prospective students wishing to enrol for 2019, please note the following:  Howick Intermediate School will have an enrolment scheme in place for 2019.  The 2019 Prospectus and enrolment forms will be distributed to Year 6 students at Botany Downs, Mellons Bay, Owairoa, Howick, Macleans, Cockle Bay and Willowbank beginning the week of 30 July 2018. For all other enrolments, our Prospectus, enrolment forms and current school zone will be available from our website or from the office.  Completed in-zone enrolment applications are to be received by Friday 10 August 2018.  Enrolments for out of zone students will close at 4:00pm on Wednesday 5 September 2018.  The ballot for out of zone students will be held on Wednesday 12 September 2018.  All applicants will be advised (successful and unsuccessful) on Friday 14 September 2018.
