Our main source of funds is the Donation Drive. Your family’s investment at the beginning of the school year is the main driver of what resources we can say YES to on Day 1. We start the year academically strong because of your generosity!

Color Run expanded with record numbers! 26 sponsors, 310+ runners, and over $16k raised!
Our Donation Drive fell short of our goal, but we had 81% of the school participating. That’s a big number and shows the strength of our Wolfpack
Two classes had 100% participation and 15 classes had 75% participation. That means 17 out of 25 classes earned an ice cream party for their level of participation in the Drive! Wow!
Our Company Match gifts were down this year. Would you consider looking into your company’s charitable giving options?
We ask for your direct donation only once, at the beginning of the school year. But if you missed it, it’s never too late to donate. Anyone can donate (grandparents, neighbors, friends) and any amount counts!
Some of our amazing clubs: Dreamweaver Dance, Drama Club, Guitar Club
A few of our Platinum Sponsors and TR Parents: Dr. Ofodile with DESSNA, Greg Mintz with Clear Skies Restoration, Shai Jiwani with Altitude, Dr. Valvani with Pinnacle Orthopaedics
Fundraisers: Art Show, Color Run
Trivia Time!
Which class was the first to reach 100% participation in Donation Drive AND the only class to have 100% participation in the Color Run? Find out on page 6!
Before the school year begins, we sit down with Dr McGill and go over the educational needs for the year that won’t be covered in the County budget In recent years, the biggest requests have been program licenses (like Lexia), curriculum, and STEM Lab technology and hardware We look at each request and ensure it aligns with our purpose of supporting academic goals. After the big purchases are made in August, grant requests can be submitted, either for an entire grade level going in on something together or each teacher individually. Dr. McGill vets and approves each grant request, and we fund it! Thanks to this community, we have never had to turn down a request due to lack of funds.
Most of our funding occurs within the first few months of the year, which is why we hold Donation Drive as soon as school starts. We want our teachers and students to have everything they need on Day 1!
Our goal is always to use all the donations generated within the same school year. Your giving directly affects your student’s educational experience for the whole year.
Monster Movie Mash is our annual ‘thank you’ event that celebrates the generosity of our community at the end of Donation Drive. We revamped the event this year, adding food trucks, a photo booth, and a movie screening in addition to the traditional costume contests and dance party.
In 2005, a group of parents gathered to discuss County and State budget cuts in education and their impact on Timber Ridge. The group suggested forming a foundation to offer Timber Ridge parents and the local community ways to contribute to enhance the curriculum and address the educational needs of the school. The suggestion was met with overwhelming support by parents, teachers, and school staff. Soon after, the Timber Ridge Foundation (TRF) was formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
