#ABOUT_US Timber Focus is a timber distributor we supply sustainable timber, i.e. hardwoods, softwoods, recycled or reclaimed wood and wood plastic composite products. We supply Business to Business Customers both Independent and National Chains or Organisations in the UK and Ireland.

Timber Focus is always looking for ways to help customers stay ahead of their competitors such as good stock holding, presenting new innovative timber products and working with architects, designers and specifiers.

Our objective is to work with partners on a long-term basis ensuring that they receive from us consistent quality, stock levels and managed prices. We keep some stock at various locations in the UK for urgent deliveries.

Fire Retardant treatment for timber cladding is very important, Puidukoda is one of the few companies in Europe that can supply fully certified timber cladding that has been tested to meet Euro Class B or C according to the standard EN 13501-1. We can supply both internal and external cladding in opaque and translucent finishes.

Barnwood Barnwood Products are products with history and we bring wood back to life. We predominantly use reclaimed wood sourced from all continents of the world from the railway sleepers from India, Barns in Toronto, Pennsylvania to Austria, bogwood from rivers and lakes in Slovakia and England we have it covered. We care for the environment and we reuse recycle good wood ensuring that our products are FSC or PEFC Certified.

We supply products with character that can be used for both internal and external applications. To add to the character and beauty we also supply burnt or charred wood-Shou Sugi Ban for cladding.

#INNSBRUCK_GREY An Engineered board, the top layer is from original cladding planks used on old farm barns and stables in Austria. Weathering through exposure to wind, rain and sun etc has made this wood achieve this finish, colour and texture. The core is made of glued softwood layers laid at 90 degrees to the face making it a very stable panel. The panels are for use in internal applications and have been kiln dried to 12% MC. The Panel dimensions are 19/20mm thick x 1220mm wide x 2750mm long.

Due to the composition of the engineered panel core this product is not supplied as FSC or PEFC Certified.

#BARNWOOD Salzburg are cladding planks from old farm barns and and stables in the Austrian Alps. Over the years the boards have weathered due to the effects of wind, rain and sun etc giving the cladding boards the look they now have.

The boards have been sorted for colour and have been kiln dried to about 12%. After kilning the boards have been planed regularised to appx 20mm thickness and tongue and grooved and finally brushed.

The boards are supplied in random T&G Widths varying from 120mm to 150mm and the length varies from 1500mm to appx 3500 mm supplied mainly in specific lengths. The boards are supplied as FSC Recycled.

A similar look can be achieved with the Geneva stock allowing a lot more character as it is supplied in random width and thickness.

Shou Sugi Ban - burnt charred cladding

We offer burnt cladding Ex Stock.

Charred, burnt or the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method has become very popular. We offer Douglas Fir and Larch burnt to give the look and the extra protection to the timber for both internal and external cladding applications. During this treatment, the wood gets charred, cooled, cleaned and oiled. This method has always been used to treat Japanese cedar, but it also gives a great result when using other durable species like Douglas Fir, Larch etc.
