Windows Live Windows Live Movie Maker allows users to easily create videos with photos and video footage from your PC or camera. Movies can be enhanced with a Movie Maker variety of audio, while adding transitions and effects automatically to create a polished and professional movie.

Audacity Microsoft Lync 2013

Audacity is a free, easy-to-use audio editor and recorder for Windows and Mac. You can use Audacity to: record live audio; edit MP3, WAV or AIFF sound files; cut, copy, splice or mix sounds together; and change the speed or pitch of a recording.

Allows teachers to chat, talk, and videoconference with other district teachers/administrators, or other classrooms from around the world and to bring guest speakers into the classroom. Also used with ElancOnline to communicate with students.

Some district classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and computer tablets. Teachers need the corresponding software installed on their PolyVision Interactive Board computers to utilize the full function of the hardware.

Each classroom should have a Lumens Document Camera to project video through their computer and classroom LCD projectors. The Ladibug Document software needs to be installed to operate the cameras.

Cameras Other department specific software is available upon completion of the District Software-Hardware-Information System Request form obtained on the INTRANET (http://intranet.elanco.org/SitePages/Home.aspx). Requests are reviewed/approved by your building principal, Assistant to the Superintendent, and the Supervisor of Technology. Teachers may download software for educational use according to the software licensing agreement. For problems or assistance with installation of district supported software, submit a Technology Work Order.

PowerSchool is ELANCO’ S Student Information System. Student records, attendance, grades, etc. are managed through PowerSchool.

The district intranet is for employee access to reserve insurance, class lists, emergency contact info, documents, and a tab specific to your school. These are links that are intended for district employee viewing only.

MLP is the district’s management tool for approving and tracking teacher professional develop time, including Act 48 hours, graduate course work, educational workshops, etc.
