ntisemitism. When I started the Conceptual Development Course in the winter semester of 2015 with this topic I was quite aware, that this would rise some controversies! As expected, some of the students refused to get involved with this difficult phenomena. ut Conceptual development means not to look for the least resistance, the easiest path to get a mark but to find solutions to problems, where regular concepts fail. To approach things from a different angle, thinking outside the box, really jumping over the rim of the own plate is what´s necessary to find sucessful solutions for problems, that are relevant. And Antisemitism is relevant. This murdered millions of innocent people and is deeply rooted in the mind of society. Antisemitism had one of its peaks durung the 3rd Reich in Nazi Germany, where a whole country tried to perfectionize genocide. They did not succed, but the deep prejudice thougts were not erased. It´s still common believe that Jews have big noses, are all rich, vicious and have only money as sole purpose for their life. I encountered such thoughts even in my moderate circle of aquaintances. hat always shocked me. At the time when I started this course a wave of refugees from

muslim countries swept over Europe, fleeing violence, war and torture. They imported an Antisemitism, that was taught to them since early childhood, learning how to erase Isreal from the map in kindergarden. Though the source of this Antisemitism is diffrent from the one we encountered during 1933 - 1945 the aim is the same: To erase the Jews from the earth. By now, Jews do not dare to wear their Kipa in some areas in Paris, Berlin or Vienna, because being identified as Jews. They will encounter violence and massive dicrimination. And this is 2016,

not 1933! o I think that the problem of Antisemitism is very relevant. I searched for some communication campaigns, that deal with working against those prejudices, and could not find any relevant attempt. So I decided to go for it with the students from the first semester MultiMediaArt and MultiMediaTechnology within the Conceptual Development course. Those students are being trained in the use of state of the art technology to feed the digital communication machine. They are the experts to communicate messages to a

Then I divided the students in different groups and asked each group to find a position towards Antisemitism. This position had to be translated into a claim, which communicated the position of the group. Then each group had to develope a communication strategy to bring their message to a defined target group. The aim was for the communication strategy to really get the message across so that the targeted audience would understand the message and start to think about this topic. he followowing pages are documenting those results. They are a mirror of how a young generation woud communicate, that Antisemitism is irrational, wrong, destructive and should not be part of our thinking and society. n
