Our Behaviour Policy How we want our school to be... Our school is a very happy place where our values are very important. It is a school where we celebrate that we are all different and are proud of our differences. We want everyone to behave in a friendly and respectful way. Everyone at Throckley Primary is equal and should be treated equally. Our values help us to follow our school rules and support us in making our school a safe and happy place to learn.

Our rewards… Behaviour & Value Champion

Our Wonderful Learners

Golden Awards

Treat Trolley

Track It Lights

What happens if we don’t behave appropriately? For example: Disrupting learning Ignoring instructions Unkind words or actions Disrespect Having a negative attitude

Achievement Stars

Staff can give us a Red Card instantly for: Swearing

Stealing Racism Bullying Fighting Damage to school or other children’s property

Our parents/carers are informed about all Red Cards and we have reflection time to talk about how we will improve our behaviour.

Staff in school can give us a verbal warning. This gives us time to reflect and improve our behaviour. If our behaviour does not improve, staff can give us a second warning and remind us that we could be given a Red Card if our behaviour does not improve. Staff could give us some time out in another classroom to give us time to think about our behaviour.
