My name is Erin McGinty Fort, and I am the Executive Director of Thrive Wellness Waco. With over a decade of experience exclusively treating eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and other behavioral health concerns in different treatment settings, I am excited to launch Thrive Wellness Waco — a behavioral healthcare center with an integrated, multidisciplinary approach.

Thrive values the unique perspectives offered by mental health and medical providers, so much so that we have prioritized placing them under the same roof. You can expect to have access to mental health, psychiatry, nutrition, and other medical professionals here at Thrive.

In addition to serving Wacoans with general mental health concerns, Thrive will also specialize in treating eating disorders, perinatal mental health conditions, anxiety disorders such as obsessivecompulsive disorder, and trauma.

Our clinicians also hope to partner with other community professionals to provide ongoing clinical training, identify gaps in Waco’s mental health services, and do our part in meeting those needs to the best of our ability.

Thrive Waco offers the following eating disorder treatment programs: • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), a half-day program with three hours of treatment each day • Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), a full-day program with six hours of treatment each day Intensive programs may include: • Personalized treatment plan • Individual and family therapy • Group therapy • Individual nutrition therapy • Supported food experiences • Coordination with outpatient treatment providers • Psychiatry and nursing assessments
