For ten years now, our Customer in Residence (CIR) program has welcomed hundreds of customers, from across the country and around the world, to our Auburn, Maine workshop. During the weeklong CIR program, our craftsmen guide each participant through every step in the making of their very own piece of Thos. Moser furniture — from raw material selection to the finishing process. The CIR program offers a unique opportunity to learn the intricacies of traditional joinery, the satisfaction of shaping American hardwood, even the discriminating process of applying natural finishes. You’ll interact closely with the Thos. Moser team and fellow participants, sharing experiences at daily meetings and at two special group dinners. Participants stay at the historic Harraseeket Inn in Freeport with ample free time to explore the surrounding area.
