Living the core through our mission, values and competencies
To positively impact our team members and the communities we serve
So “What does Live the Core mean?” The core of Thompson Thrift encompasses our Mission, Core Values, and Core Competencies. These three aspects make up the culture of Thompson Thrift—why we do what we do, our guiding principles, and the behaviors we strive to achieve.
At Thompson Thrift, our Mission Statement isn’t something that we simply put on the wall. We live it every day by making a positive impact and serving our communities in our work and personal life. As a company, we are successful due to our individual and collective efforts and by Living the Core!

Thompson Thrift Team Member Spotlight
Clint Garrison, Director of Resident Experience and Innovation, started with Thompson Thrift in December 2018 and recently transitioned from the Community Management team to the Preconstruction and Design team earlier this year.
“In my role, I bridge the gap between design and community management. Ensuring community management is getting a product that is operationally efficient for our team members while enhancing the resident experience is vital for our future successes.” - Clint Garrison
Some of Clint’s duties include advocating for the resident and community management in the design process with a focus on site planning, clubhouse and leasing space design, upgraded unit strategy, and overall amenity programming. In addition to design reviews, Clint assists with researching and implementing new technology to ensure Thompson Thrift is a leader in innovation among our peers. Clint has spearheaded Thompson Thrift’s overall community internet strategy, access control and smart home initiatives, and bundling of resident services to provide added convenience and drive additional revenue.
“Clint has been an incredible asset to the Community Management team, and we are excited for his growth in the organization. Clint has laid a solid foundation for our group to be successful.” - Aimee O’Connor, Senior VP of Community Management.
