Thompson Education Foundation Monthly Giving Program

Monthly giving is an easy and convenient way to increase your level of financial support for TEF and get more involved in our mission. Your monthly donation can be program specific or support our general unrestricted fund. This means your support follows your own individual passion, whether that’s athletics, academic enrichment or school preparedness. Plus, your monthly donation gives TEF a strong source of revenue, allowing us to plan for future expansion over several months or even years in anticipation of evolving needs within Thompson School District.

Why does monthly giving make sense for me as a donor?

• Convenience- Monthly donations are automatically processed, so there’s no need to input your payment information or mail in your donation every time you want to give.

• Flexibility- Adjust your donation amount over time.

• Self-directed giving- Choose a specific program to support, or support multiple programs.

How does monthly giving benefit Thompson Education Foundation?

• Your monthly donation provides a predictable source of fundraising revenue that supports ongoing projects, future growth and unexpected expenses.

• As a monthly donor, you have the potential to offer a greater lifetime value to TEF than one-time or occasional donors, creating a lasting impact on Thompson School District and our community.

How do I become a monthly donor?

1. Decide which fund you want to support: The Monthly Giving Program currently offers HKS Heroes (Help Kids Succeed school supply program); Scheer Student Opportunity Squad (SOS) (Scheer Student Opportunity Fund); All Star Support Team (Student Athlete Fund); and the TEF Strength Fund.

2. Click on one of the above funds to access the donation page, or visit each page under “Our Services”.

3. Decide on your monthly level of support, choose to make a recurring donation, provide your contact and payment information, and you’re all set!

HISTORY DAYS FIELD TRIPS

Thompson Education Foundation sponsors curriculum-based field trips for all 2nd and 4th grade students each year in addition to occasional opportunities. The second grade students’ field trip aligns with their local history requirement and includes a visit each May to the Rialto Theater, Loveland Museum and Lone Tree School. Students learn about local history through hands-on activities, reenactments, timeline reviews, a scavenger hunt and much more, all while visiting these three local historic sites.

These History Days field trips, which every second grade class in the District is invited to attend, are made possible by the Lola Johnson Field Trip Fund. A former Board of Education member and TEF liaison from the board, Lola Johnson was deeply invested in sharing and preserving the history of Loveland. Her family started the memorial fund in her name to preserve her legacy of community involvement and enrichment.

TEF has some delicious news to share! Beginning in May 2024, we will be taking orders for 10-lb boxes of peaches to support our Scheer Student Opportunity Fund. The Fund removes barriers for Thompson School District students to embrace individual academic, leadership, recognition and extracurricular opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach due to financial need.

These juicy and delicious peaches are sourced from C&R Farms, located on the Western Slope. Peaches are sold in 10-pound boxes for just $35, no order limit! Orders will be accepted until late July and make great gifts!

Your purchase helps Thompson School District students by supporting TEF’s Scheer Student Opportunity Fund.

Peach Pickup Day will be scheduled for early August (weather & harvest date dependent). Scan QR code to order and for additional details.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
