Counter Attendant Job Summary: •
Welcomes all customers to the store and handles all monetary transactions over the

counter. Enters orders in POS computer system and tags items for laundry/dry cleaning service.
•
Answers customer’s general questions about the laundromat and its services.
•
Responsible for opening the store (morning shift) and closing procedures (evening shift).
•
Helps to maintain cleanliness of the store.
•
Assists laundry staff when needed.
Education and Skills: •
Must be 16 years of age or older and is currently enrolled or has completed graduation from high school.

Have knowledge of various laundering processes for different types of material and fabrics. Must be comfortable with computers and be able to use the store’s POS computer system proficiently (training provided).
•
Must be able to resolve any customer questions and requests with a friendly and professional attitude.
•
This position is ideal for an organized person who has high attention to detail, enjoys talking with customers and takes pride in top quality work.
Schedule: •
Must have own reliable transportation.
•
Must be flexible to work at all locations (South Hill, Five Mile, and Deer Park). Part-time position available with possible future full-time.

the company. Training is available for advancement throughout the company’s laundry and dry cleaning departments.
