EXTERIOR Placed under a bridge, the market can be a potential community hub for the area.

Front Stall Back Room A tradition and old-fashioned design of Chinese Stalls of having the store in front and a room at the back, which we applied to our program to increase the sense of responsibility.

STALLS Market stalls are transformed into shops and workshops for the homeless after they undergo a training program.

ROOMS At the back of the stalls are the rooms of the workers of the market, which allows them a profession and a home.

Difference in level

Folding of walls creates a semi enclosed space that separates the private and the public without the use of a literal door by making the private are more difficult to access.

The cabinet of the storage creates a folding of wall that blocks the path directly to the storage, a semi enclosed space that is not entirely separated from the public.

This changing of level in the last house is due to a level change in concrete, while many houses avoid using this side as a connection, the owners of the house built stairs and a larger door to allow for physical connections to enter and exit the house.

Redesign House no. 68 - The design is a modern translation of the types of connection discovered in the analysis, primarily Visual Connection. The size of the house is a slightly stretched version of the original storage, and the second floor leans over to the kitchen opposite to design.

Rooftop Haven The site can be deprecated into four upper levels, with three drenched. The idea is that the two outer most levels, mainly coded as color green, is designed for the resting of workers. The container boxes are leveled with bedrooms of workers and allows them to rest inside. The two middle levels,color coded as red, is where people can spend time in he fruit market. These two levels contains market for selling fruits, shops and restaurants that is fruit related, a basketball court, and places for people to relax. Each of the zoning is connected by a bridge, where the color acts as a indication of the function for this area.

Deployable Fruit Stall Each unit of the juice stand is a deployable structure made of steel that allows the unit to expand from less than a meter to a 4-meter structure that fills a alley of the market. The unit is a octagonal shape with

retractable limbs stretching from each side. Racks extended from the structure allows fruits to be placed on top and lets the customers choose freely along the alley across multiple units. The Fruit Station is designed to held staff to serve the people who purchased fruits, The people put fruit in their basket and hand them to the staff and help them to blend. The staffs are held inside the bar table and will serve the people who have fruits.

The Site for the juice stalls is on the alleyway of the market, where most of the transportation take place at night but is left empty in the afternoon. This project aims to reventilize the image of the fruit market and gaining traction for a younger generation to come.

Model 1:20 The visitors only can see though the structure by swimming in the bottom of the sauna. The light come through from the sauna inside attract the viewer climb up the leader to access. The glass door separates the space of corridor and dry sauna service. After the heating, user can jump down to swimming pool for the cooling down and finish the full sauna cycle.
