Thomas Hardie Commercials 40th Anniversary Plan 2025
MISSION.
To invite all key stakeholders on a company-wide celebratory event to mark 40 years of Thomas Hardie Commercials.
HOW?
Planning and organsing events, competitions and charitable schemes that occur throughout all THC depots and include as many key stakeholders as possible.
WHY?
Celebrating 40 years of successful business boosts staff morale, incorporates long-standing customers and strengthens relationships across all essential touchpoints.
JANUARY
I. Anniversary Logo/Header are applied to our group social media platform.
II. PR and supporting imagery are uploaded to our website.
III. Specially commisioned anniversary PowerPoint slide and letterheads are sent out to all managers, including new and used vehicle sales.
IIII. 40 Year ‘Teaser’ social media post to be shared via socials.
IIIII. Email campaign to THC customers announcing this year’s 40th Anniversary and what to expect.
FEBRUARY
I. 40th Anniversary digital e-card. Employees can comment about their time with Thomas Hardie Commercials.
II. External flags featuring our anniversary logo to be produced and sent to depots.
III. Jim Murray anniversary launch video.
To be recorded at Moorgate depot on Wednesday 26th February and posted online shortly after.
To encourage donations from staff/public/customers for the various activities taking place through 2025. Final amount can be announced/handed via donation cheque to conclude our event.
IIIII. New THC Demonstrator Vehicle
Anniversary branding to be unveiled –complete with QR code that directs those who loan the demo to make a chartable donation via our dedicated Just Giving Page.
MARCH
I. Commemorative anniversary two-page editorial spread to be placed in Commercial Motor.
II. Inside frontcover full page anniversary feature in Commercial Motor.
III. Visual timeline – Through the Years (any notable events). DOTY success, Motor Transport Award/ Commercial Motor winners.
IIII. Release Prezzee Competition - ‘This time in 1985’.
APRIL
I. Distribution of employee Easter eggs complete with special anniversary tags and thank you message.
II. Employee ‘Walk the Walk’ activity
As many steps as possible during April to raise money for Derian House.
III. Video to accompany ‘Walk the Walk’ activity
IIII. Exclusive THC Strava group to coincide with ‘Walk the Walk’ activity.
