LOUISIANA to MARYLAND
Treat Yourself to a Week of Painting in Maine with Old and New Friends
The Alexandria Museum of Art celebrates its second annual Farm to Forest Plein Air Festival in October of 2022. This four-day festival invites artists to capture the abundant natural beauty of Central Louisiana surrounded by farms, nurseries, and Kisatchie National Forest. Alexandria sits along the Red River with its sister city Pineville, and features a scenic historic district and downtown cultural district. Pineville has a quaint main street and historic cemeteries. Central Louisiana also includes small surrounding communities that offer scenic opportunities. The museum seeks purchase awards to supplement the cash awards!

We make it effortless. You roll out of your bed for breakfast, pack a sack lunch for your day of painting, and show up for dinner. Regardless of what level of artist you are, seven days of painting can make a monumental difference in your painting skills and your state of mind. At Fall Color Week, you can come as a beginner or a pro. Either way, you’ll have just as much fun, and you will see progress.
