21 flights, 12 airlines, 74,000 km (1.8 times around the Earth), 105 hours in the cabin, 33 nights away from home, 4 continents, 7 countries plus 8 US and Australian states, 24 cities, 10,000 photos. This is how my 2014 looked like in travel terms. First time I sat behind the wheel of a right-hand drive car. First time I had a transcontinental flight cancelled due to an airline strike and felt lost for a day before finding an alternative route. First time I realized that Internet connects me better than phones and I chose to be online rather than accessible by GSM, and instead of roaming I used local SIM cards and phone numbers.
