PDP: APC’s Claim on Atiku’s Cameroonian Citizenship Diversionary Wins Rivers assembly supplementary election Adedayo Akinwale in Abuja and Ernest Chinwo in Port Harcourt The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as “reckless and groundless”

claim by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that its presidential candidate in the just concluded general election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is a Cameroonian. The main opposition

party said the allegation is a calculated attempt by the ruling party to trivialise and divert attention from alleged rigging of the presidential election. It was, however, good news

for the PDP yesterday as it won the four state assembly seats in the supplementary election organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State last Saturday.
