THIRD DRAWER DOWN SIGNATURE COLLECTIONS Since 2003 Third Drawer Down Studio has collaborated with some of the most prominent modern and contemporary artists of our time by translating their artwork into limited edition or open edition objects and collectables. From our humble beginnings of producing limited edition tea towels as prints that questioned what made art to be art, we have expanded our collections to include homewares, games and accessories.

Our artst collections are distributed in leading galleries and institutions worldwide. Third Drawer Down Studio collaborations include exclusive

collections by Louise Bourgeois, Ai Weiwei, David Shrigley, Yayoi Kusama, Guerrilla Girls, Chris Ofili and Judy Chicago amongst many others.

THIRD DRAWER DOWN STUDIO PRODUCTS

GUERRILLA GIRLS The Guerrilla Girls are a group of anonymous artists who wear gorilla masks in public and use facts, humor and outrageous visuals to expose discrimination and corruption in art, film, politics, and pop culture. In 30 years, they have come up with over a hundred posters, street projects, actions, books, and billboards. Most recently they did a stealth campaign in New York about the super rich hijacking art, and a wall in Reykja-

vik about discrimination in the Icelandic film industry.

They travel the world doing gigs , workshops, exhibitions and inspiring others to create their own effective activist campaigns.

DAVID SHRIGLEY David Shrigley is a British artist who has come to prominence through his drawings, publications and sculptural works. is drawings have a kind of throwaway H beauty peopled as they are with monster children, idiots, aliens and bad parents.

Full of twisted lists and exchanges, we love Shrigley for his humour, wit and endless cynisism.

Drawing can be the most intimate of exchanges physically - the scratching’s of a pen on paper, the scale of the notebook, erasing and building and image. But it also acts as a cathartic action. Maybe not just for the artist but for the viewer as well. So in Shrigley’s work he’s also releasing something for everybody.

CRAIG DAMRAUER Currently working out of New Orleans, Craig Damrauer makes things and writes about things. His art centres on simplifying complexity. The ‘New Math’ body of work takes words and basic math and cretes definitions for the stuff that seems to get increasingly complicated in our chalending modern world.

His work has been shon at MCA Denver and LA Contemporary Editions amongst many others. He has been features in the New York Times, the Atlantic, GOOD and Anathema to much acclaim.

THIRD DRAWER DOWN STUDIO We are three things; a design studio, a wholesaler and a store Our focus is on the very essence of collaboration and the challenges posed by cultural retailing. Everything that comes out of Third Drawer Down Studio bears the hallmarks of artistic integrity and functionality.

Established in 2003, our studio has collaborated with over 150 contemporary artists to create licensed objects for everyday use.

Some of our collaborations thus far, include Louise Bourgeois, Ai Weiwei and David Shrigley. Our extensive range of licensed objects are available in leading design and museum stores around the world. If you are interested in becoming a stockist please head here.

By 2006, the studio began making bespoke products for such prestigious institutions as the Tate, MoMA and Whitney. This point represented the realisation of the studio’s vision to bridge the gap between artists, the cultural institutions that represent them and ultimately to extend the artist’s story in a sensitive yet commercial manner.

We are always open to talking about collaborations that you have in the pipeline or simply having a chat about an idea that is just taking form. The design, licensing and distribution of bespoke cultural products is in our blood.
