A Cumbrian band called the Thieving Magpies is truly making a difference as they celebrate helping to raise over £50,000 for charity since their formation in 2016. Alan Whitmore from the band writes “We thought it would be great to give back to our local communities here in Cumbria by playing at a few events and fundraisers but we never anticipated such a fantastic response and so much money being raised! It’s brilliant to combine playing music we love and entertaining people but also raising vital funds for individuals and families who desperately need help!
