Up to challenge of hosting ‘sheer magnitude’ of BEAs

What does it take to entertain, feed and impress 800 astute, discerning guests at one of WindsorEssex’s most glamourous nights of the year?

For Joe D’Angela and his team at St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, “It’s an all-in, allhands-on-deck experience, for all of us. (The Business Excellence Awards) is a big party, and you’ve got a lot on your hands, so you have to really get behind this.”

The Director of Operations for the centre says that while he and his staff, led by chef Carmen Incitti, are “bounced around 1,000 different things, especially for an event of this magnitude,” the experienced team have it down to a science. But it takes the involvement of more than 200 staff members to get it right, to make it seamless and to achieve perfection.
