Helping our most vulnerable citizens and becoming a voice for the voiceless has been both a passion and an immeasurable reward throughout his career.
Cowie’s education and training extends far beyond the norm. He incorporates a comprehensive range of techniques in his practice that balance and integrate the mind and body. His demonstrated leadership has contributed to the success of Loaring Physiotherapy & Health Centre, now entering its 18th year of business.
In the community, Cowie has lectured at the Canadian College of Health Science & Technology and has volunteered his medical services at numerous national and international competitions, major games and charitable community events.
Elena recently co-founded and co-hosted the first annual “Sip for a Riesling” charity event which raised $10,000 for Hiatus House. She loves to volunteer at local schools for oral health presentations, as well as sponsor local sports teams. She considers herself fortunate to be a mentor to both dental students and colleagues looking to start up a practice of their own.
