" Keith/Adam,
Just thought I needed to say that the site team down at the s278 works at Boorley Gardens did a great job in getting a tough scheme over the line and in difficult circumstances with another live site opposite Damien and Dan especially were a pleasure to work with and all problems encountered were dealt with in a timely and professional manner They are both a credit to KAMM I look forward to working with them again on future works
Regards,
Stephen Townsend

Well done to all the team involved to finally get this across the line The job looks superb and was echoed in this email received from Steve Townsend
New Tender Enquiries have slowed up recently, but our Commercial team have reached out into the market place and have managed to get us back pricing for Barratt Homes and also a new company to us called Thakeham Homes so well done all Fingers crossed on these
Other tender enquiries have been received from our existing clients; Miller and Bellway Homes.

QUALITY REPORTING
Over the next few months we would like to standardise the quality reporting of our works, by incorporating all our clients and NHBC (or similar) procedures.

COINS
The office team had their first teams meeting to discuss the implementation of COINS. So yes, we are under way!!
Big thank you to Lee who is heading this
The KAMM Customer Care department changes are working really well. Danni now has Darren Skyrme and a gang working alongside Shaun and Stuart attending to a wide variety of remedials across all sites. This increase in manpower, along with the assistance from the foremen on ‘live’ sites, has resulted in around 90% of the outstanding works being completed and has increased efficiency in maintaining our SLAs for new jobs massively.

Having completed what has probably been one of the busiest periods ever at KAMM, with all the plots for CML’s and foundations before the Part L regulations came in, and recognising that “no job is so important it cannot be done safely” we have come through this period from a health & safety point of view relatively quiet which is really good to report
Having taken on over 75 new groundworkers this year so far shows just how busy we have been
The introduction of the competency checks on new starters has caused a few problems by slowing the process down but I want you to recognise how vitally important it is we stick with it to ensure we have a competent workforce not only from a health & safety point of view but also a workmanship (quality) point of view We don’t want anyone new coming to KAMM who could undo all the hard work we have all put in getting us to where we are today. If we can continue to deliver what the developers want without any incident and to a good standard then we can all look forward to a bright future
With the various systems and procedures slowly being put into place at Ringwood we can now look at all the information we have from various site visits and inspections to see what area’s we can target to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone along with our quality and environmental performance is maintained.
QUICK NOTE: Please can we have a purge on all our sites and stop keys being left in equipment and seatbelts MUST be worn Thank you

HQ REFURBISHMENT
The big move in day has arrived!! Keith and I bought the building back in February 2020 and never dreamt it would take this long or cost this much!
What a great time had by all and as such I think we should go for this time of year again.
Thank you to all those that came and made it such a good crack.
To be fair, we did have a pandemic and a planning officer to deal with ;)
