Yee Haw, Wildcats HLSR AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE Houston rodeo days are fast approaching, and several of our students submitted artwork to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Contest. Mrs. Kaylee, Westview's art teacher worked with all Westview students in the fall on a westernthemed rodeo prompt. With the help of Mrs. Angela, she provided students with themed visuals to select from, and each student was given the opportunity to personalize their art within the contest parameters. She also worked with students on completion, full color and balance of their art. We are so proud of the five pieces of Westview art that received an Award of Excellence from the competition. Great job to all our student artists, and we are thankful to our art department for keeping Westview involved in such a great community event. We are so proud of all our students’ creativity!
