PAULINO YANEZ ’16 Given for decency, integrity and good will towards all; for high standards of excellence in academic achievement and personal conduct; for sensitivity and sound counsel; for positive approach to all aspects of school life; for thoughtfulness, generosity and good nature; for willingness to lend a helping hand, no matter how difficult the task; for outstanding service to his fellow students and to the school.

AKUA MCLEOD ’16 Given to a senior who has shown consistent and dedicated leadership in upholding the highest values of consideration of all in the community, in her personal integrity, in her thoughtful and compassionate judgment, and in her serious endeavor in all that she has undertaken.

Ann R. Longley Prize for Distinguished Leadership

RITA EBEID ’16 This prize is awarded to the senior who, throughout her career at Vivian Webb, has shown leadership of the finest order. From her role in helping to create and uphold the traditions and rules of the school, and to her enthusiasm for challenges of the classroom, she has been a role model for all.

Daughters Strong Award

KATHRYN LOFGREN ’16 This award is given to a member of the graduating class who throughout her career at the school has demonstrated a genuine love of the school and a commitment to the values exemplified in the school’s motto Sapientia, Amicitia atque Honor – Wisdom, Friendship, and Honor. Her quiet leadership makes her a true Daughter Strong in the tradition of the founder, Thompson Webb, and his wife, Vivian Webb.

Distinguished Service Award

JORDAN STREET ’16 This award is given to a senior in recognition of her distinguished service to the school which reflects her deep intellectual curiosity, her commitment to the rights of women, and her keen sense of justice. Her service here has demonstrated a commitment to the welfare both of the school and the individuals that transcends herself and shows her consistent willingness to respond to other’s needs, and to hold to the highest values of the school.
