. . . e v i t s e f Feeling Welcome to our Christmas edition of ClubChat. This summer is looking to be perfect, just like this little place of paradise here on the coast. The Waves Club Caloundra is the perfect place to catch up with family and friends and enjoy a cold beverage, or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the weekly entertainment. Take the time to read through this edition and see what is going on around your club. This edition is sure to have something for everyone. With the successful launch of our rewards program ‘Waves Rewards’ at the start of July, the feedback from our members has been excellent. We have now added members and non-members pricing across our entire food and beverage offering seven days per week. We wanted to give more back to our members and our new rewards program has been designed to do just that, reward every member of the club, as each one of you are valued. We are giving away a Great Northern Yeti 45 litre esky. For your chance to win, all you have to do is purchase any Great Northern product, either on tap or bottle (Original, Super Crisp or Zero), using your membership card and you will receive an entry into the draw. Drawn Friday, 26 January 2024. See page 4 for more details. Terms and conditions apply. Drink responsibly. We have launched our new summer menu, with some delicious new offerings, we have retained all your favourites and the chefs have created some new special dishes. You will notice member and non-member pricing on all menu items. We have continued our daily lunch specials menu from as low as $13.50 (members) and $15.50 (non-members). These specials are available 7 days from 11:30am to 2:00pm, and the $3.00 seniors discount off any lunch special menu item will now be available Monday to Sunday until the end of January. We will also continue our dinner specials on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. See pages 8 & 9 for more details.
The Waves continues to appreciate each one of our team members, not only for the high level of customer service they offer to you our members and visitors, but also the passion and professionalism they give every shift. I have great pleasure to announce our winners of Employee of the Month; September is Toni D, and our October Employee of the Month is Lily W. Congratulations to both employees and to the entire team here at The Waves Club Caloundra for an amazing job over the past 12 months. See page 5 for more details. Our December gaming promotion is ‘Secret Santa’, with $2,000 in cash and prizes to be won. This will commence on Monday, 27 November 2023 and run through until Friday, 22 December 2023. Each Friday night leading up to Christmas we will conduct 4 draws between 6:00pm and 8:30pm. See page 11 for more details. Terms and conditions apply. Gamble responsibly. Who doesn’t get a little excited at this time of the year? Our annual Christmas raffle is back, and it’s bigger than last year with over $4,000 worth of prizes up for grabs. Prizes include kid’s toys, camping and sporting goods, home appliances, club gift cards, and Christmas hams. Drawn Tuesday, 19 December from 6:30pm. We will also have Santa arriving on this day from 5:30pm for all the kids. Activities will include face painting and each child will receive a special gift bag from Santa.
