Wānaka Autumn harvest long lunch is back!
A celebration of community growers and local food.
After a two year break, the Wanaka Autumn Harvest Long Lunch returns later this month on Sunday, 26 March. As part of Local Food Month, join Wao Aotearoa with the teams behind Kiwi Harvest, Grow Wānaka, Food for Love, Love Food Hate Waste, and enjoy a three course lunch paired with food focused conversations by our local food champions. This year the lunch will be held at The Venue and will include a silent auction and harvest gift swap. The Harvest Long Lunch celebrates locally harvested food and our regional artisan growers. The hero will be locally rescued food in a showcase of harvest abundance. All food will be locally donated by KiwiHarvest and the Wānaka community, and will be transformed into a delicious, multi-course lunch suitable for the whole family, professionally prepared by our top local chefs. All profits from this event go to KiwiHarvest, Wānaka’s Food For Love, Grow Wānaka and Wao Aotearoa.
