infrastructure across the country through the CCSF. According to the government of Canada website, the fund aims to support “the improvement of physical conditions for artistic creativity and innovation. The fund supports the improvement, renovation and construction of arts and heritage facilities, as well as the acquisition of specialized equipment.” To be eligible for funding, applicants must demonstrate that their organization has been active in the execution of their artistic or heritage mandate for at least two years and that their programming is accessible to all Canadians. Applicants must also be able to provide financial reports. The outdoor theatre project was originally slated for design and construction five to ten years from now, however, the potential for See FEDERAL FUNDING Page 2
