Nota de los Editores Hello, spring! Spring is here! And we couldn't be more excited. A time when buds are blooming, the birds are chirping everywhere. It's our favorite time of the year. When the sun illuminates and the fields flowers remind us that all these flowers were designed for us to be admired as a gift from our Creator.

Americans have been celebrating Mother’s Day officially on the second Sunday of May since 1914, when the untiring advocacy of a woman from West Virginia named Anna Jarvis finally persuaded President Woodrow Wilson to make the day a national commemoration.

The following 5 ways of increasing your energy levels are all simple and natural. None of them is a guaranteed method, but there’s a good chance that by using any of these approaches you’ll experience at least some benefit.

Sleep: It might seem completely obvious, but getting enough sleep is essential to having good energy levels. What many of us now take for a good sleep is actually inadequate. Meal Skipping: One of the worst things you can do for your energy levels is to skip meals.

Your body gets its energy from the food you eat, so eating less food means having less energy. And if you really must skip a meal, make sure it’s not breakfast. By the time you wake up in the morning it will already have been a long time since you ate dinner, and skipping out breakfast only increases this. That’s a long time to go without a source of energy for your body!

If you’re one of the many people who feel affected by low energy levels, then no doubt you’ll be wondering if there’s anything you can do to change this. Although doctors can offer medication to help with some energy level problems, there are actually natural ways of improving your energy levels that don’t require a trip to the doctor or any special drugs.

Eat Small: Although it’s important not to miss meals, in order to keep your energy levels at their peak it’s actually better if you don’t have 3 big meals per day… Instead, you should eat more than three meals of a smaller size throughout the day. Be willing to show vulnerability as soon as you trust your friends enough to feel comfortable doing so. They will then feel more comfortable doing the same with you.

BE SUPPORTIVE. Be there for your friends at all times. Whether your friend needs a shoulder to cry on, someone to celebrate with, or support while going through challenging circumstances, be there. Knowing that you are around and that you are fully supportive is most often the best gift you could give.

BE A GOOD LISTENER. Take the time to truly listen to your friends. Make an effort not to always be the one in the spotlight. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves to take a step back and just be a pair of listening ears to the friends we care for. Offer advice when it is asked for, but above all be someone who is always willing to listen.

Everyone wishes for a good friend, and considers themselves blessed when they find one. Having a good friend makes tough times easier to deal with, and gives you someone to share the good moments with. If you want to have good friends, however, you must first be one.

The beginning of this is learning how to become a good friend. Here are several things individuals can do to make themselves a better friend… in turn attracting the same kind of people into their own life.

BE HONEST. When you are asked for your opinion, be truthful. There is no need to be unnecessarily harsh, but there is a way to be honest and still kind. Give the people in your life the gift of a truthful friend and there will never be any reason for them to doubt your words.

BE RELIABLE. To be a good friend, you must be reliable. Be someone your friends can count on to follow through with promises. Don’t constantly back out of plans or fail to help someone when you have made a promise. Being reliable shows that you have invested in and committed to the relationship.

BE POSITIVE. There is no need to act in a fake manner, but try to stay upbeat when possible. There is certainly an appropriate time to share difficult thoughts with a true friend, but if your demeanor is most often cynical and negative, people will not want to be around you often. Stay positive, and be the kind of person who encourages others even before you have opened your mouth to speak.

BE TRUSTWORTHY. Be someone your friends can trust. When a deep secret is shared with you, be the person who doesn’t even dream about passing it on to someone else.

Keep your promises and never back away from your word.

BE FORGIVING. One of the most important things a friend can be is forgiving. True friendships will go through the storms and stand the test of time. If you can make a decision to forgive whenever possible, this will make for a strong friendship.

BE OPEN. If you want your friends to trust and confide in you, you must be open with them also. If you never share your deepest hopes and fears, how can you expect them to do the same with you?

They say a good friend is hard to find, and that can be true. If you are a good friend, you will naturally attract good friends into your own life. Become a good friend, and put this positive cycle to work in your life.

But, if you have your own Aloe Vera plant, then you can extract its juice and use it for hair care. To extract the juice from the Aloe Vera plant, cut off a mature leaf and squeeze it. Now, you can use this juice to replace your regular hair conditioner. Apply the juice directly on the scalp after shampooing your hair. Leave it for about 5 minutes and then rinse off. You can also mix a small amount of lemon juice to Aloe Vera juice to enhance the effects of this natural conditioner.

Another method is to extract the gel of Aloe Vera plant and use it to make a natural shampoo. You can mix the Aloe Vera gel with coconut milk and wheat germ oil. Wheat germ oil is known for its excellent moisturizing properties.

DISCRECION PROSECUTORIAL: ESTA PUEDE SER SU ULTIMA OPORTUNIDAD PARA CERRAR SU CASO DE DEPORTACION. Es de público conocimiento que la Administración Obama ha comenzado a aplicar la política de "discreción prosecutorial" a partir del 2011. Por medio de la misma, miles de inmigrantes que enfrentan deportación lograron cerrar su casos pudiendo permanecer en los Estados Unidos sin temor a verse obligados a abandonar el país. En muchos casos, a estos inmigrantes se les permitió continuar renovando sus permisos de trabajo hasta la fecha. Sin embargo, hay que tener en cuenta que esta política migratoria puede no estar vigente más allá de fines del 2016 (cuando el Presidente Obama termina su segundo mandato) por lo cual es fundamental considerar esta estrategia antes de fin de año. Los siguientes factores son fundamentales al momento de solicitar este beneficio: tener hijos y/o esposos nacidos aquí, haber pagado impuestos, haber vivido en el país por más de 4 años, enfrentar algún peligro en su país de origen, y por sobre todo ser una persona de buen carácter moral. Este último factor fue especialmente difícil de probar para aquellos que tenían una condena por DUI (al haber sido culpables de manejar bajo los efectos del alcohol) ocasionando un rechazo casi automático por parte del fiscal al momento que el pedido de "discreción" era interpuesto por el inmigrante. En este ultimo tiempo hemos visto que la postura de los fiscales se ha flexibilizado en favor de los inmigrantes y la discreción prosecutorial fue otorgada a aquellos que tienen condenas por crímenes menores. Si bien lo arriba mencionado puede demorarse algunos meses y en muchos casos se debe volver a la Corte Criminal para cerrar la condena de manera definitiva, este último esfuerzo puede significar la única posibilidad de éxito para el inmigrante que enfrenta cargos de deportación y no quiere irse de los Estados Unidos.

Como abogado de inmigración, recomiendo que cada persona que enfrente cargos de deportación considere la discreción prosecutorial como una defensa adicional ya que podría ser la manera más segura de permanecer en el país junto a su familia y seres queridos.

ather’s Day will be 106 years old on June 19th, 2016, and a Spokane, Washington, woman is credited with being the founder of the annual celebration. Sonora Smart Dodd, often referred to as the “Mother of Father’s Day,” was 16 years old when her mother died in 1898, leaving her father William Jackson Smart to raise Sonora and her five younger brothers on a remote farm in Eastern Washington.

Teens are closing in on becoming adults, so they need to learn how to exercise judgment about using the net safely, securely, and in accordance with their family ethic.

Teens have more internet access through cell phones, mobile devices, and friends' computers, as well as more time to themselves. So it isn't realistic to be always in the same room when they're online. They need to know that you and other family members can walk in and out of the room any time, and can ask them about what they're doing online.

TALK ABOUT CREDIBILITY. It's important to emphasize the concept of credibility to teens. Even the most tech-savvy kids need to understand that: • • • •

Not everything they see on the Internet is true People on the internet may not be who they appear to be Information or images they share can be seen far and wide Once something is posted online, it's nearly impossible to "take it back"

TALK ABOUT EXPECTATIONS. Because they often don't see facial expressions, body language, and other visual cues when they’re online, teens may feel free to do or say things that they wouldn't otherwise. Remind them that behind the screen names, profiles, and avatars are real people with real feelings.

When you talk to your teen, set reasonable expectations. Anticipate how you will react if you find out that he has done something online you don't approve of.

If your teen confides in you about something scary or inappropriate they've encountered online, try to work together to prevent it from happening again.

TALK ABOUT DATING: Ask how they would like to be treated. Provide examples of what is and is not acceptable from both parties involved.

ENCOURAGE OPEN COMMUNICATION: It is okay to have “special moments” in a relationship, but secrecy can lead to isolation and can be the first sign of manipulation. Encourage teens to rely on support from peers, parents, and caring adults.

HELP YOUNG PEOPLE STAY HEALTHY: Help them develop problem-solving skills, negotiation skills, and assertive (not aggressive) skills. Be a resource for them and have outside resources available to them.

GOOD AND BAD: Discuss/ Define healthy and unhealthy relationships in both peer and romantic relationships. Support the positive expectations; explain that manipulation and violence is never acceptable.

The lovely little yellow lemon is packed with flavor but thankfully not with calories.

When enjoyed with foods high in iron (such as leafy greens) they can help the body to absorb it.

One whole lemon is only 12 to 20 calories, yet provides our bodies with nearly all of our daily vitamin C requirements.

Vitamin C among other things, builds collagen in the body. Collagen is essential for smoothing out wrinkles and lines in the face.

But, lemons are way more than flavor and vitamin C. They are a real powerhouse of antioxidants known as flavonoids that help reduce the risk of heart disease, inflammation and even have the ability to fight certain cancers.

Flavonoids help to locate and eliminate potentially harmful particles called free radicals that could otherwise damage the body’s cells and DNA. Additionally, lemons help to improve cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure and relieve heartburn. They provide both antioxidant and antibacterial properties.

This small but powerful superfood not only provides us with Vitamin C, but also provides many B vitamins, iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium and fiber.

Even though lemons themselves (before you eat them) are acidic in nature, they actually work to keep your body alkaline – a healthy pH level. They also boost the immune system and benefit the digestive system and are known to help with weight loss because the fiber they provide is pectin and studies have shown that pectin reduces hunger cravings (because it helps us to feel fuller longer.)

Like most fruits and vegetables, the whole fruit is what provides full health benefits…so don’t be afraid of using the peel (where most of the vitamin C is found.)

Although the big punch of vitamin C is located in the peel of the lemon, all of it can and should be used…juice it, zest the peel, or use the lemony flesh in any dish that requires to enhance both savory and sweet dishes.

DON’T BE DUPED INTO BUYING PRE-SQUEEZED LEMON JUICE. Go for the real thing if you really want to benefit from this little yellow jewel. When buying fresh lemons choose the ones that are fully yellow and if possible go organic. Any green left on the lemon means that it has not yet ripened fully. Avoid lemons that are wrinkled, dull in appearance or excessively hard.

PROPER RESPONSES TO COMMENTS FROM OTHERS. The ability to receive criticism is different than the ability to respond appropriately to it. Some responses can trigger battles, hurt feelings, and cause more problems.

Imagine two male children who are walking down the hallway at school.

One child says to the other, “That sweater makes you look like a girl.”

An Ability to Respond Appropriately to Criticism and Feedback. There is a role for criticism and feedback in our lives. When a child turns in a book report, for example, you want them to be able to read the teacher’s comments and learn from them. As an adult, feedback from your peers and supervisors is one of the only ways you can learn and grow. And many careers are packed with criticism and feedback from others, whether you want it or not.

There are a wide variety of responses a child may have. They might jump on the kid and punch them. They might ignore the child or use humor to try to add some levity to the situation. They could say thank you or tell the kid to go away. They could also come back with something even crueler to say.

How your child handles the situation might cause more problem; for example they might start a fight. Or they could hurt the other kid’s feelings.

Teaching your child to respond appropriately to different situations can help them navigate childhood successfully and it gives them more confidence as they transition into adulthood.

For example, if your child decides to be a writer, an artist, an actor, a designer, or even an architect or engineer, then there will be feedback and criticism on just about anything they deliver. It’s part of the process. It’s essential to be able to take the information that’s necessary to improve and to let go of any emotional reaction to the feedback. Teaching your child to be resilient and thick skinned teaches them to learn from feedback and criticism and to improve from it.

SELF-WORTH. Self-worth is defined as the sense of one's own value or worth as a person. It’s also synonymous with self-esteem or self-respect. In short, it means that your child learns to value themselves. They know that they have innate strengths and talents. They may also know that they have some abilities that they need to work on but they appreciate all of the good and wonderful things about themselves.

ABILITY TO RECEIVE CRITICISM. As you can see, these elements or ingredients are intimately linked.

We just talked about the role of self-worth with receiving criticism.

Not all criticism will be constructive or positive. Some people don’t know how to give criticism in an effective way and others just don’t care. There are definitely some people who enjoy putting others down so that they feel more powerful and important.

WHY IS SELF-WORTH IMPORTANT? In the eyes of a child, self-worth is important for many reasons. In terms of having thick skin and being able to deal with the criticisms and negative behavior of others, it means that a child can hear another person say something mean or negative to them and it won’t have an impact - or at least it won’t have a lasting impact.

Children who are thick skinned are able to sort through information and criticism from others and decide what is relevant and useful and what is total garbage. This skill helps a child improve without taking anything personally or letting negative comments hold 26 The Voice Magazine

them back.

A child can hear another person tell them that they’re stupid and because the child has good selfesteem and they know their strengths, the other person’s comments won’t hurt in the same way that it would if a child didn’t believe in themselves. Self-worth is also important because it helps support persistence. For example, a child writes a story and the teacher provides constructive criticism.

They point out the good parts of the story and the parts that need work.

A child with good self-worth will be able to take it all in.

Without taking it personally, they’ll be able to apply the feedback in a way that they’re able to improve the story and see the validity of the teacher’s comments. They’ll be able to move forward and work hard to achieve a result that they’re happy with.

APPROPRIATE RESPONSES, HAPPIER LIVES. Finally, teach your child to have stronger relationships with each other.

Imagine if every time you received a negative comment or something bad happened to you, you’d have to cry, throw things, and take some time alone in your bedroom. Sounds like an appropriate response for a small child, not an adult, right?

Teaching your child to adapt and respond accordingly, helps them move forward. It helps them stay positive and focused on living a life that they design and desire rather than letting external forces control their day and their experience.

Sure, there may be times when you do want to have a temper tantrum.

Una Habilidad para Responder Apropiadamente a las Críticas y Comentarios. Hay un papel para la crítica y la regeneración en nuestras vidas. Cuando un niño entrega un informe de un libro, por ejemplo, usted desea que lean los comentarios del profesor y aprendan de él. Como un adulto, los comentarios de sus compañeros y supervisores es una de las únicas maneras que usted puede aprender y crecer. Y muchas carreras están llenas de críticas y comentarios de los demás, ya sea que usted lo desee o no.

Por ejemplo, si su hijo decide ser un escritor, un artista, un actor, un diseñador, o incluso un arquitecto o Ingeniero, habrán comentarios y críticas sobre cualquier cosa que ellos hagan. Imagínese a dos niños que están caminando por el pasillo en la escuela.

Un niño le dice a otro, "ese suéter te hace ver como una chica."

Hay una gran variedad de respuestas que un niño puede tener. Podría saltar sobre el chico y golpearlo. Podría ignorar al niño o usar el humor para intentar añadir alguna levedad a la situación. Podría decir gracias o decirle que se aleje. También podría volver con algo incluso más cruel que decirle.

Cómo el niño maneja la situación causaría más problema; por ejemplo podría iniciar una pelea, o podría herir los sentimientos de los otros niños.

Enseñar a su hijo para responder adecuadamente a situaciones diferentes puede ayudar a navegar con éxito en su infancia y les da más confianza en su transición hacia la edad adulta.

AUTOESTIMA. Autoestima se define como el sentido del valor propio o el valorarse como persona. También es sinónimo de autoestima o amor propio. En Resumen, significa que sus niños aprenden a valorarse a sí mismos. Saben que tienen talentos y fortalezas innatas. También sepan que tienen algunas habilidades que necesitan para trabajar pero aprecian todas las cosas buenas y maravillosas sobre sí mismos. ¿POR QUÉ ES IMPORTANTE LA AUTOESTIMA? A los ojos de un niño, la autoestima es importante por muchas razones. En términos de tener la piel gruesa y ser capaz de lidiar con las críticas y el comportamiento negativo de los demás, significa que un niño puede escuchar a otra persona decir algo desagradable o negativo para ellos y no tendrá un impacto - o al menos no tendrá un impacto duradero.

Un niño puede escuchar otra persona decirle a ellos que son tontos y porque el niño tiene buena autoestima y ellos conocen sus fortalezas, comentarios de la otra persona dolerá de la misma manera que lo haría si un niño no cree en sí mismos. La autoestima también es importante porque ayuda a soportar la persistencia. Por ejemplo, un niño escribe un cuento y el maestro proporciona una crítica constructiva.

Enseñarle a sus hijos a adaptarse y responder apropiadamente, les ayuda a seguir adelante. Les ayuda a mantenerse positivos y enfocados en una vida que ellos diseñan y desean en lugar de permitir que fuerzas externas controlen sus días y sus experiencias.

Seguro, puede haber ocasiones cuando desean tener un berrinche.

Sin embargo, usted ha aprendido a controlar sus emociones y cambiar su enfoque a lo que importa. Sólo tiene sentido para enseñar a sus hijos esta lección desde el principio.

MOTHER'S DAY PROCLAMATION This powerful Proclamation was made by Julia Ward Howe in the advocacy for the need of official celebration of Mother's Day in Boston, United States of America in 1870. Miss Howe was the first person in US to recognize the need for Mother's Day holiday. She was successful in raising awareness amongst the masses and pushing her pleads to the upper echelons of power.

Though Miss Howe could not herself get the day recognized as the official holiday, she is revered for her significant contributions towards the celebration of the day and for bestowing honor on mothers.

MOTHER'S DAY PROCLAMATION Arise, then, women of this day! Arise all women who have hearts, whether your baptism be of water or of tears!

Say firmly: "We will not have questions decided by irrelevant agencies.

Our husbands shall not come to us reeking of carnage for caresses and applause. Our sons shall not be taken from us to unlearn all that we have been able to teach them of charity, mercy, and patience. We women of one country will be too tender to those of another country to allow our sons to be trained to injure theirs."

Julia Ward Howe is also famous as the writer of the Civil War song, 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic'.

From the bosom of a devastated Earth a voice goes up with our own. It says "Disarm! Disarm!"

Following this very potent Proclamation made in 1870, the Mothers' Peace Day Observance was held on the second Sunday in June, 1872. Such observances began to take place each year thereafter and paved the way for Mother's Day Holiday in US on the second Sunday of May.

PROCLAMACIÓN DEL Día Esta poderosa proclamación fue hecha por Julia Ward Howe en la defensa de la necesidad de la celebración oficial del Día de la Madre en Boston, Estados Unidos de América en 1870. The spring is when the earth comes back to life after a long cold winter, and it is in the spring when the first flowers begin to bloom and the green world begins to return after its winter slumber. The power of spring and its regenerative effects are evidenced by the beauty of new life.

The spring is an important season for many hobbies, including of course gardening. For the gardener, the spring is one of the most pleasant times in the garden. The spring is the time when the bulbs that were carefully planted in the fall begin to grow and blossom, and the spring is when the first seedlings are carefully nestled in the garden.

There is no doubt that the spring is one of the most beautiful, and most colorful, of all seasons for the gardener.

The spring is also a favorite time for home improvement projects that could not go forward while the weather was too cold. Whether it is a small project like installing new downspouts or a large project like building a new garage or storage shed, the spring is one of the best times to work at improving the value and livability of the home. In the spring, the weather is neither too hot nor too cold, and the homeowner has plenty of daylight in which to work. It is no wonder that the spring season is one of the busiest for home improvement stores and warehouses.

HOW TO LET GO OF PEOPLE THAT ARE NO LONGER GOOD FOR YOU By: J U A N C A S I L O S A B E T O D O Relationships are a wonderful blessing to have. They can be hard work, but the sense of community they bring is important to a person’s wellbeing and personal growth. At times, however, there are people in our lives and even in our inner circles who become a source of negative energy.

Remember, just because you disagree with someone doesn’t automatically make them the party in the wrong. Speak calmly and choose to act in a peaceful manner.

Be Kind. There is no reason to fly off the handle when you have decided you need to let someone go. Choose to be a person who shows maturity.

Be kind instead of acting in an inflammatory manner.

When this happens, there are a few different choices you can make. One of these choices is to let go of that person. This is a tough decision, but it is sometimes necessary. How do you go about ending relationships with those who are no longer good for you?

Give Your Reasons. Assuming the individual in question has not been violent or abusive to you or your family in any way, it is only fair to let the person you are cutting ties with be privy to the reason why.

State your reasons for the decision and make your intentions clear.

Cutting someone out of your life and refusing to discuss it can be very confusing and harmful to them, and to you. Giving an explanation will help you to become more effective at communication.

Make a Decision. Before you decide to cut someone out of your life, think long and hard as to whether this is indeed the right decision for you. Is the person in question a dangerous person, or can your issues be worked out? Do they play an important role in your life, or in the lives of your immediate family? Will your decision be helping or harming the people you love? Is there a possible way to work out the dispute? Don’t rush to any sudden decisions.

Making a decision to remove someone from your life takes a lot of thinking, and is not easy. Before you make this decision, think deeply and plan your strategy in advance.

Instead of rushing into something you will regret later, plan ahead so you can do it in the most mature and careful way possible, in the best interest of all involved.

Listen to Their Side. Cutting someone out of your life, especially someone close to you, is no easy decision. Consider that you may have been acting in the heat of the moment. Ask for their thoughts about your decision, and truly listen to what they have to say about it.

Be Respectful. If you have had a disagreement, lay out your concerns to the individual in a respectful manner.

Be Firm. If you have decided this is what you need to do, you will need to be firm. It is difficult to hear that someone no longer wants you to be in their life, so expect the person you speak with to have strong feelings about the issue. If you have been harmed by this person, be especially firm and careful not to mislead then into thinking that there is a chance to be reunited if there isn’t. Of course you can change your mind in the future if you feel your decision was wrong, but don’t raise false expectations on the part of someone who is having a hard time letting go.

as relaciones son una bendición maravillosa de tenerlas. Pueden ser un trabajo duro, pero el sentido de comunidad que es importante para el bienestar y crecimiento personal de una persona.

A veces, sin embargo, existen personas en nuestras vidas y en nuestros círculos interiores que se convierten en una fuente de energía negativa.

Sea respetuoso. Si usted ha tenido un desacuerdo, exponga sus preocupaciones a la persona en una manera respetuosa.

Cuando esto sucede, hay unas cuantas opciones diferentes que usted puede hacer. Una de estas opciones es desprenderse de esa persona. Esta es una decisión difícil, pero a veces es necesario. ¿Cómo va a poner fin a las relaciones con aquellas que no son buenas para usted?

Sea Amable. No hay ninguna razón manejar el desacuerdo impulsivamente cuando ha decidido que una persona se vaya de su vida.

Recuerde, sólo porque está en desacuerdo con alguien no automáticamente hacen que la otra persona esté mal. Háblale con calma y decida actuar de una manera pacífica.

De Sus Razones. Suponiendo que el individuo en cuestión no ha sido violento o abusivo con usted o con su familia de cualquier manera, sólo es justo que la persona con la cual usted está cortando los lazos sea enterado de la razón porqué lo está haciendo.

Exponga las razones por la decisión tomada y aclare sus intenciones.

Cortar a alguien de su vida y negarse a discutir las razones puede ser muy confuso y perjudiciales para ellos y para usted. Dando una explicación le ayudará a ser más eficaz en su comunicación.

Escuche el Lado de Ellos. Cortar a alguien de su vida, sobre todo de alguien cercano a usted, no es ninguna decisión fácil.

A Mother's Prayer For You I said a Mother’s Day Prayer for you to thank the Lord above for blessing me with a lifetime of your tenderhearted love. I thanked God for the caring you have shown me through the years, for the closeness we have enjoyed in time of laughter and of tears. And so, I thank you from the heart for all you have done for me and I bless the Lord for giving me the best Mother there could be.

God made a wonderful mother. A Mother who never grows old. He made her smile of the sunshine. He moulded her heart of pure gold. In her eyes he placed bright shining stars. In her cheeks fair roses you see, God made a wonderful Mother and He gave that Dear Mother to me.

While we honor all our Mothers with words of love and praise. While we tell about their goodness and their kind and loving ways. We should also think of Grandma, She’s the mother of my dear Mother.

I Love You Mom. So, smile cause I Love You on this Mother’s Day and forever!

Dije una oración al Día de la Madre para tí, para dar gracias al Señor por bendecirme con una vida útil de tu amor misericordioso. Agradezco a Dios por el cuidado que me has mostrado a través de los años, por la cercanía que hemos disfrutado en épocas de risas y de lágrimas. Y por lo tanto, le agradezco de corazón todo lo que has hecho por mí y yo bendigo al Señor por darme la mejor madre que podría haber.

Dios hizo una madre maravillosa. Una madre que nunca envejece. Él hizo su sonrisa de sol. Él moldeó su corazón de oro puro. En sus ojos puso deslumbrantes y brillantes estrellas.. En sus mejillas rosas que puedes ver, Dios hizo una madre maravillosa y él me dio esa Madre Querida.

Mientras honramos a todas nuestras Madres con palabras de amor y alabanza. Mientras hablamos de sus bondades y sus maneras de amar. Debemos también pensar en las Abuelas, ellas son las Madres de nuestras Madres queridas..

Por lo tanto, sonrie. ¡Te amo en este Día de las Madres y por siempre!.

Palabras de Sabiduría

DE IMPOSIBLE A POSIBILIDADES

H

ay momentos en la vida en que nos encontramos en un lugar o situación que no quisiéramos estar. Como si tuviéramos en una calle sin salida o en un problema que parece no tiene remedio. Nos sucede que aún teniendo un mapa, nos perdemos. ¿Verdad que sí? Como que no vemos la solución a nuestra situación.

En el libro de Éxodo, luego que Dios libera a Israel de la esclavitud de Egipto, ya camino hacia la tierra prometida, precisamente se encontraron en una situación que no esperaban. Sin embargo, fue donde el Señor los guió. A sus espaldas estaba un ejército fuertemente armado con la intención de destruirlos a todos, y de frente estaba el Mar Rojo. ¿Qué hubieras hecho en esos momentos? ¿Huir, lamentarte, hecharle la culpa a otro, o a Dios?

Aunque Dios manifestó momentos de milagros con su pueblo, sin embargo cuando venían los problemas, Isarael volvía a caer en dudas e incredulidad. Sin embargo El Señor los restauraba.

Igualmente, Jesús quiere ayudarte en tus momentos de prueba, luchas, escasez y debilidad. ¿Qué debes hacer cuando enfrentas tus “imposibilidades”?

DALE FRENTE A TU PROBLEMA. Dios no te dejará ser probado más allá de lo que puedes soportar, y con la prueba, te dará la salida. Él te acompañará en cada instante.

Cuando te encuentras en una calle sin salida, esfuérzate, porque Dios tiene un milagro preparado para ti, y que a la larga te va beneficiar.

Comienza a ver el potencial que Dios ve en ti. No dejes que los problemas te depriman. Confía, que Él no se ha olvidado de ti, sino al contrario, tiene bendiciones reservadas especialmente para ti. El profeta Jeremías nos dice: “Porque yo sé muy bien los planes que tengo para ustedes, afirma el Señor; planes de bienestar y no de calamidad, a fin de darles un futuro y una esperanza.”, Jeremías 29:11 (NVI).

ACTIVA TU FE. Dios sembró la semilla de fe en ti (Romanos 12:3), y está interesado en que tu fe crezca.

Y permite situaciones imposibles para que aprendas a confiar en Él. Oremos, ayunemos, leamos Su Palabra (la Biblia), busquemos consejo de otras personas. Pero también ¡MUÉVETE! No te quedes sentado haciendo nada. Pon tu fe en acción. El Apóstol Santiago dijo en una ocasión: “No se contenten sólo con escuchar la palabra, pues así se engañan ustedes mismos.

Llévenla a la práctica.”, Santiago 1:22 (NVI). Y también dijo: “Así también la fe por sí sola, si no tiene obras, está muerta.”, Santiago 2:17 (NVI).

PRACTICA LO APRENDIDO. No abandones las cosas que el Señor te enseñó. Sigue creyendo. Si estás desempleado, sal y busca el empleo que ya Dios tiene para ti. Si tienes un vicio, cree que Dios te dará las fuerzas para dejarlo. Si tienes un cónyuge problemático, déjalo en las

manos de Dios. Descanza debajo de Su sombra. Y también comienzas actuar y creer conforme a Sus promesas. Acuérdate que lo que es imposible para el hombre, posible es para Dios. Cristo dijo: “Fíjense cómo crecen los lirios. No trabajan ni hilan; sin embargo, les digo que ni siquiera Salomón, con todo su esplendor, se vestía como uno de ellos.”, Lucas 12:27 (NVI). ¿Cuál es tu calle sin salida o tu Mar Rojo? ¿Reconoces que Dios tiene un propósito y plan divino en medio de tu crisis? ¿Reconoces que Dios está contigo? Deja tu fe florecer.

No te quedes sentado. ¡Muévete!

Dios te dice personalmente: “No temas, porque yo estoy contigo; no desmayes, porque yo soy tu Dios que te esfuerzo; siempre te ayudaré, siempre te sustentaré con la diestra de mi justicia.”, Isaías 41:10 (RV1960).
