The Best of Bruton Bruton Enterprise Centre

BRUTON ENTERPRISE Centre opened in December 2021 joining the network of 8 existing Somerset Enterprise Centres operated by Enterprise South West on behalf of Somerset County Council. The site is in a fantastic location overlooking the valley and is already home to 17 exciting small local businesses who have taken office and light industrial space at the centre. They have had a fantastic

response to the new centre and now have just one remining workspace available to let and meeting rooms available for external meeting and training session bookings. The available large workspace is approximately 925 sq/ft and offers a flexible space suitable for a variety of uses, rents are inclusive of all utilities and high speed internet. Mill on the Brue Outdoor Activity Centre

Mill on the Brue Outdoor Activity Centre provides the best Summer Camps and Day Visits ever! Based in 25 acres of woods, fields and a river valley in glorious countryside. Children have been coming visiting them for 40 years.

They have so much to offer residentially (72 children stay per week) or just for the day. Each age group is challenged accordingly, with so many activities to choose from: Archery, Assault Course, Canoeing, Climbing, Quick Jump, Water Slide, Hiking, Rafting, Super Zip Wire to name but a few. Each

group will have their two Instructors for the week or just the day who really get to know the group. They have beautiful gardens and grow their own vegetables that the children will eat whilst they stay. They strive to teach children about healthy living and teach them important life skills, with a lot of fun too.

King’s Bruton

King’s Bruton is a remarkable school with 500 years of history. With over 360 pupils, the key to their success is to combine their relatively small size with a highquality education. They have outstanding GCSE, A Level and BTEC results, with the majority of their pupils going on to their first choice of university. Their hockey teams have reached 12 National Finals, there are over 70 pupils in their full Choir, their Chapel Choir sings Evensong in regional cathedrals every term, whilst the 200-seat theatre is the venue for outstanding drama. The thriving CCF is one of the oldest in the country, and over half of their senior pupils undertake Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards. King’s pupils are encouraged to respect themselves and others, to adopt a positive
