Second family tragedy Pompey’s death is the second tragedy to have occurred in the family — they lost one of their beloved, Michele Bernadette Pompey, in the fatal road accident which occurred on December 31, 2009, when a mini-bus overturned while travelling along the Argyle road. He was the second of four children for his father, Ivan Dellimore. Dellimore said that he had returned to St Vincent in December after a stint in St Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Pompey would visit regularly, he said — “he always home.
