Proud to be an Awarded 4 Star Hotel, 2 AA Rosetted Restaurant and Hotel of the Year Winner at the Lancashire Downtown in Business Awards Welcome back! I am delighted to inform you that we have retained our 4 Star Accreditation and 2 AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence. Just days after receiving this news, we were told we had secured our Certificate of Excellence for 2019 from TripAdvisor! Retaining such prestigious awards illustrates our hard work in maintaining a high standard throughout our hotel and restaurant.

They do say that good things come in threes so we are ecstatic to announce that on Thursday 20th June we won Hotel of the Year Award at the Lancashire Downtown in Business Awards 2019, for the second year running! A phenomenal achievement that we are still on a high from now.

Our special events such as the Chilean & Argentinian Wine Dinner and Father's Day were highly celebrated 'sell-out' occasions which have resulted in bookings for our next wine event on Friday 15th November where we will be wining and dining on delicacies from across the globe. On Sunday 14th July we held our second Wedding Showcase Day of the year. Many future newlyweds attended to view our award-winning venue, browse wedding stalls and chat to our resident suppliers. If you were unable to attend, be sure to make a note in your diary for our Wedding Fayre which will take place on Sunday 6th October, 11am - 3pm.

We cannot believe we're saying it but the festive season will soon be upon us so plan ahead this year and book to celebrate Christmas & New Year at The Villa! Comedy Legend Syd Little Visits The Villa On the 10th May, Help Beat Cancer - Wyre held a Charity Luncheon in The Villa's Pavilion. Over 100 people attended the event, which included a divine three course dinner, merchandise stalls and a raffle. Guest Speaker Syd Little entertained guests with stories and memorable experiences. A huge total of £1,420.10 was rasied! Here is what the charity had to say about their afternoon at The Villa...

The Flintshire Explorers Return Once Again A sunny afternoon in May saw a walking group from the South of Wales explore our venue and dine in our 2 AA Rosetted Restaurant. Take a look at what they had to say...

50 members from Flintshire Explorers enjoyed wonderful hospitality from John and the team at The Villa Hotel. We had walked along the Lytham seafront and been given a tour of Lytham Windmill before arriving at the hotel.

Then a brief walk from the back of the hotel to see the Wrea Green duck pond and around the village green before a superb two course meal in the hotel to end our perfect day. The menu was of the highest standard, proven by the number of empty plates.We are already planning a return visit in the autumn.

Kirkham Grammar School Ladies Luncheon The Villa Is Swept By Prom Season Over 120 Carr Hill students arrived at The Villa on the evening of the 27th June to celebrate their prom. A red carpeted entrance followed by a tasty mocktail greeted them upon arrival. They were then shown through to the Pavilion where they danced the night away. Here is what Gill Clancy, Head of Year 11, had to say about the evening...

We have held our Year 11 proms at The Villa for a number of years now and have had a fantastic experience at every single one. The venue is perfect for a formal celebration and the room always looks impressive. The staff are beyond helpful and nothing is too much to ask. When planning our evening, they will always go above and beyond to make it the evening that we want.

I thoroughly recommend The Villa and hope you have the same excellent experience.

On Thursday 6th June our Hall was the venue of choice for this year's Kirkham Grammar School Ladies Luncheon. Guests arrived from 12 noon and dined on a delightful three course lunch. Here is what they said after the event...

We had a wonderful lunch thank you. The food was beautiful, the service was efficient and the whole feel of the afternoon was relaxed and convivial.

As ever, you gave us so much help and attention and did as much as you could to make the afternoon run smoothly - thank you.

The Villa is a beautiful setting and is so handy from a school point of view.

I am sure FKGS will be coming back to you for further events.
