Photography winners ‘love where they play’.

Literary Awards now open Entries for the Lane Cove Literary Awards will be accepted until 23rd August 2017.

PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED ACROSS THREE CATEGORIES INCLUDING: • Short Story Prize- $2,000 • Memoir Prize - $1,500 • Poetry Prize- $1,500 THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL PRIZES MAY BE AWARDED: • North Shore Gym Resident Short Story Prize - $500 • Stone Real Estate Resident Memoir Prize - $500 • Trendsetter Travel Resident Poetry Prize $500 • The Burns Bay Bookery Youth Prize (16-24 years) - $500 • The Baytree by Ardency Senior Prize (Age 65+) $500

Timothy Dalton was the winner in the 12-18 year age category, with his photo ‘Riverview from above’.

Leo Schmid was the winner of the under 12 year age category, with his photo entitled ‘Curious Minds’.

This year’s Captured Photography competition showcased an excellent selection of photographs that reflected the theme ‘Love Where You Play’. Winners were announced at an awards presentation at Gallery Lane Cove. ● In the over 18 age category, first place went to Luke Torrevillas; second place went to Kristin Campbell, and third place went to Stephen Miller. ● In the 12 – 18 age category, first place went to Timothy Dalton; second place went to Louisa Grundy, and third place went to Robert Mueller. ● In the under 12 age category, first place went to Leo Schmid; second place went to Xavier Fink, and third place went to Tom Varga.
