Making Friends on Every Trip Since 2002

Dear Friends, The season of giving thanks is upon us. In our family, we try to count our blessings all year long, but with the arrival of the holidays, it becomes even more important. We are so grateful for all of the members of The Upper Class family, many who have been with us since the beginning, and new friends that we’re lucky to have met more recently. Not only do you join us on trips, but you teach us every day with your humor, warmth and friendship as you continue to inspire our grandmother’s vision for this company. We like to remember the words of Clarence the Angel from It’s A Wonderful Life, “Remember - no man is a failure who has friends.” We are so grateful each one of our buses is filled with good friends! Our newest collection of holiday trips is designed to celebrate the spirit of the season, giving all of us the chance to reflect and appreciate with friends. Give a gift to yourself or a gift certificate for a friend – the perfect present of trips promising twinkling lights, tinsel, music, great food and much holiday cheer! And it doesn’t stop there! This catalog provides an early look at upcoming winter and spring trips - a special holiday surprise especially for you to wrap early this year! Be the first to book your favorites for 2015! Happy Thanksgiving!

N ew! Celebrate Jewish Heritage in New York Happy Hanukkah!

Just in time for Hanukkah, delve into the fascinating history of Jewish heritage in New York! Trace the rich and diverse history of New York City’s “Golden Land,” once the world’s largest Jewish community with Justin Ferate, recently named “New York’s Most Engaging Guide.” Experience the powerful history of this culturally rich community, including a guided tour of the newly restored Eldridge Street Synagogue, a National Historic Landmark. Travel through the Lower East Side to view the remnants of the “Yiddish Rialto” – one of the greatest theatre districts in American History, where every performance – even Shakespeare – was in Yiddish. The day wouldn’t be complete without a kosher meal at Ben’s Deli, famous for their NY-style sandwiches and potato latkes. A highlight of the day: visit the The Jewish Museum where you’ll view the world’s largest collections of Menorahs. Each lamp speaks to the interaction of historical events, Jewish law, artistic expression, and personal experience. This exhibit truly captures the spirit and history of Hanukkah, The Festival of Lights. “Chag Sameach!”

Witness the ceremonial wreath laying, a Three Volley Rifle Salute, the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag across the Flight Deck, a military fly-over in the missing man formation and the bugle playing of the haunting “Echo Taps.” This ceremony is the touching finale of Fleet Week, bringing together service men and women from each branch of our military. You and everyone aboard the aircraft carrier will connect and participate in the event, singing our national anthem and saluting the soldiers in attendance. You can also visit the Space Shuttle Pavilion and new Hubble Telescope exhibit. After the ceremony, gather for a three course lunch at the Tuscan-inspired Bottino restaurant.

Don’t miss this special, moving tribute that honors so many, while celebrating the American Spirit.
