One-Day Tours: For one-day tours, full payment is due within seven days of making a reservation. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Protection, the Protection cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.

Prices are per person, per trip and include all round trip transportation, accommodations, meals, entertainment, admissions, tour escorts, guides, taxes and gratuities as per the unique itinerary of each trip, unless otherwise stated.

Multiple-Day Tours: For multiple-day tours, a 50% per person deposit is due within seven days of making a reservation. Balance is then due 90 days prior to departure. If a guest elects to purchase Travel Protection, the Protection cost is due within seven days of making a reservation.

It is the travelers’ responsibility to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure at designated departure locations. Any guest not arriving in time for departure may be left behind. The Upper Class, LLC assumes no responsibility for guests arriving late or to the wrong departure point.

Payments may be made by MasterCard, Visa, or by sending a check or money order. All rates are guaranteed upon payment or deposit.

CANCELLATIONS

If a guest is unable to travel due to illness or other health issues, The Upper Class Travel Protection program provides a refund for the cost of any trip, minus the price of the Protection. The refund will be made upon receipt of a doctor’s note. The note must state that, based on an office visit, the guest was not able to travel. The note must be signed by the doctor and dated on or before the trip’s departure date.

One-Day Tours: Guests may cancel reservations up to 30 days prior to departure on one-day motor coach tour for a full credit, minus any unrecoverable charges (i.e. Theater tickets). There will be no credit or refund for any cancellation made after this time, unless The Upper Class Travel Protection has been purchased and the Protection terms have been complied with. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date issued.

The Upper Class Travel Protection is available for purchase within seven days of making your reservation, but not less than 30 days or more prior to travel.. Claims must be received within 14 days after the departure date of the tour and are available for cancellations due to medical reasons only. Once purchased, it is non-refundable and nontransferable. The fee does not cover any changes in tour prices which arise from an individual’s traveling companion electing to cancel prior to departure. In this case, the price difference will be deducted from the refund of the person who cancels. Division of these charges between the passengers involved is solely their responsibility.

Multiple-Day Tours: Guests may cancel reservations up to 90 days prior to departure on a multiday motor coach tour for a full credit, minus any unrecoverable charges (i.e. Theater tickets). There will be no credit or refund for any cancellation made after this time, unless The Upper Class Travel Protection has been purchased and the Travel Protection terms have been complied with. Credits are valid for 12 months from the date issued.

WINTER WEATHER PROTECTION PROGRAM The Upper Class understands winter weather may throw a wrench in even the best-laid travel plans. We don’t want any of our guests to feel uncomfortable when traveling to our departure locations due to inclement winter weather. For your peace of mind, we are happy to offer you an option to protect your vacation with our Winter Weather Protection Program. The Winter Weather Protection Program allows our guests to cancel a tour for a full credit toward future travel if snowfall of more than 2” inches occurs within 12 hours prior to your tour’s departure. Snowfall is measured by the National Weather Service officially published snowfall for White Plains, NY. The Winter Weather Protection Program is available on tours during the months of December through March and is designated by the Winter Weather Protection Program icon on each individual trip. Winter Weather Protection for an additional $15 on trips under $100, or 15% of the trip price on trips of $100 or more and must be purchased within seven days of making your reservation, but not less than 30 days or more prior to travel.

The Upper Class, LLC is not responsible for events cancelled out of our control. Where possible, The Upper Class will make efforts to secure alternate arrangements at our discretion. If The Upper Class, LLC is provided a rain check for a cancelled event, the rain check becomes the property of the traveler and The Upper Class assumes no further responsibility. Almost Heaven, West Virginia

It’s almost heaven in West Virginia as you ride the rails and country roads through the Allegheny Mountains. It’s an Appalachian Adventure with vintage trains, secret bunkers, old world coal mines, giant telescopes and more! Day 1 – Almost Heaven, West Virginia (D) Journey through the Pocono and Alleghany Mountains, arriving in West Virginia for a three-course welcome dinner at 1863 Grill. Get a good night’s rest at the Issac Jackson Hotel in Elkins, your home for the first two nights of the trip. Day 2 – Rockets and Stars (B, D) All Aboard the Durbin Rocket, one of the most rare and famous vintage trains!
