The Island is famous for its miles of beaches, sparkling clear waters, draGuided tour of matic bluffs, preserved open spaces, Block Island and fun-filled activities. Relax on a ferry across Narragansett Bay and Block Island Sound to the Island where you’ll check into the National Hotel - the island’s flagship Victorian landmark - built in 1888 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National’s giant, wrap-around porch is world famous with breathtaking views overlooking the Sound and is your home for the next two nights. Located in the heart of Old Harbor, you’ll enjoy dinner tonight in the National Hotel’s Victorian dining room.

Majestic Mohegan Bluffs Stroll Picturesque Old Harbor Day 2: Block Island (B, D) Enjoy a guided tour of the island as you discover miles of pristine beaches, sparkling clear waters, dramatic bluffs and preserved open spaces. You’ll visit the Great Salt Pond, the Island’s scenic lighthouses, majestic 200’ tall Mohegan Bluffs and Clayhead. This 11 square mile island offers both the rare and the wonderful. This afternoon is yours to enjoy the island. Let the concierge help you set up a nature walk, stroll the beach, go fishing, smell the wild flowers, tour a historic lighthouse, shop in Old Harbor or relax harbor side on the National hotel’s porch and watch the sailboats glide past – today is up to you. Dinner is in the Hotel’s Victorian dining room tonight. DAY 3: Block Island (B) Spend a leisurely morning strolling Block Island’s pristine beaches, protected by lighthouses and spectacular bluffs surrounded by rolling roads and winding paths.
